my thoughts exactly. it looks to me like Burrows did it quite cleanly, speaking about his view towards a person and avoiding mixing the NHL and generalizing with officiating, so I don't really expect NHL handing him any slap. but it sure is something which will buy him a lot of extra attention from the refs around the NHL

listen... I know you're in love with Sindy but keep pretending to be fair... but what the f* are you talking about? do you want Wings to suck for like 5 consecutive years and whine about move to Kansas to eventually land a huge number of top draft picks? and yes, Wings are basically in playoff position right now. their average PPG is only slightly lower than Penguins despite playing in much tougher West. I'm not even gonna start with injuries because there really is little to discuss about our AHL roster dressed to play in NHL games.

taking into account pure fact, that FSN Pittsburgh aired this very camera angle almost instantly on TV... it sounds to me like a poor excuse of Toronto for f* it up. and yes, I'm tired of this lucky calls/non-calls for Bettman's poster boys.

Lang then Bertuzzi Lang trade looked good when it happened but eventually was a nightmare. Bertuzzi didn't came with big expectation but he also didn't excel a lot. now Matthias and draft pick did hurt us. honorable mention (though, not a trade): Kenny letting Hasek unretire and create Hasek/Cujo/Legace controversy

not for NHL marketing. right, but we're not the voters to me it's: Myers, Duchesne, Tavares. and the sole fact that Tavares is not first on this list speaks volumes about the Islanders organization. personally, I'm pulling for Jimmy H and Matt Duchesne.

I don't even bother to hear this sour grapes. muted it down waiting paitiently for period 2.

that's what I though, too. but I haven't had a chance to see the replay on Pittsburg stream so my opinion is not conclusive. it seemed pretty clear though EDIT: it's in the same replay as above. offside as hell... how does this not surprise me...

me. if I'm expecting to be driving within a couple of hours or even have to take care of my child myself - I refrain to non-alcoholic beverages. it's 0.00% for me. period. if I want a beer or wine I simply leave my car and use public transport. that's so easy. and yes, it works

I happen to have grown in Poland where drunk driving is a very serious issue for road safety (just as in a number of other European countries). and as much as I used to like Chelli I'll be glad to see him punished. there's really no jokes with drinking and driving...

never liked him and most certainly don't feel bad that NHL poster boys have to deal with injuries. won't really shed a tear here. nevertheless, I hope the guy is OK and returns healthy. at the end of the day this is a skilled guy, huh?

What Five Current NHL Players Do You Hate the Most?
akustyk replied to GMRwings1983's topic in General
hate is a strong word and is too much for all but the 1st d*bag on my list. but dislike should definitely do. 1. Pronger 2. Perry 3. Rob Niedermayer 4. Ott 5. Tottoo truth being said, anyone in Flyers, Ducks, Penguins and Habs jersey is permanently on my "wish all the worst" list. especially Flyers. -
Happy New Year from Slovenia, everyone! Friday: Boston Buffalo Saturday: Carolina Vancouver Tampa Bay Los Angeles NY Islanders Colorado Calgary Chicago Nashville Minnesota Detroit San Jose Sunday: Philadelphia Montreal Florida Chicago

@Aussie_Wing - could you, please, place me somewhere in the standings. I'm quite sure I was close to the top and I liked it Friday: New Jersey Buffalo Florida Tampa Bay Boston Vancouver Saturday: Philadelphia Detroit Anaheim Nashville Pittsburgh Toronto Minnesota Montreal Carolina Atlanta Columbus Washington Sunday: Detroit Vancouver
-
don't even start to jinx it. we've had enough callups from minors due to injuries this seasons.
-
there are teams more desperate to buy decent goaltending than Wings. end of discussion to me.

I love the comments under this news on TSN. "The Yukon is listed as day-to-day with a lower-bodywork injury. " "'Tried to jump onto the hood?' Great! Now Campbell's gonna suspend him for leaving his feet..." "The Yukon is lucky it didn't hit Kyle THE BEAST Okposo. That would've been ugly"

Puck Daddy actually does have some knowledge and balls to write things straight. but the guy (or guys, I'm not quite sure) is pretty obviously biased. but then... I'd rather read comprehensive and biased opinions than nice stuff missing the point. but that's me
-
we'll come back to this topic when Wings let a terrible softie on the very first PK next game. no, I'm not superstitious, but things like that are just asking for trouble. it simply always go wrong

legend. period

and produced a huge mess in Vancouver which cost multiple years to fix. and as far as I remember (wasn't a huge ice hockey fan back then) he didn't really win a cup with Whalers either knowing Puck Daddy love for Sindy & co. I am actually glad the guy didn't end up 1st on this list. because this was definitely possible
