stop jinxing it please
-
Iggy is great, he just needs to control his nerves more because he becomes an easy target for the zebras in those 3rd periods. having said that, he needs some support from teammates to not be the only one Flame with heart and desire to win. which leads him to frustration and dumb penalties
-
BTW: where is this Huselius kid who made headlines just 2 days before playoffs start? could he repeat his cocky comments on how Hasek is old and Wings don't have it, please? dang, what a ******
-
just about who cares? we're spanking Flames and dominating them completely. they'll be more competitive in their barn but I really don't see them being strong enough to win a game, unless their D regroups and shows some signs of having a clue. Hull is once again making an ass of himself. give credit where it's due, dude, and forget about your personal problems. as of now you're in Mullet's league which is rather low (above Woody Paige and Kara Yorio, but still very low)

never liked Kano, but his fatality with heart-ripping was awesome. though, I always loved beating the crap out of Liu Kang who simply looked ***
-
that depends on whether she wears some nice latex clothes or not

Iginla has been seen this series. in the box after taking dumb penalties when trying to "do something". as usual in such situation, he made an ass of himself and put his team in trouble
-
my thought exactly Jarome, could you?
-
Rags have it 2-0 with series heading to MSG. not bad. seems like Brendan and Avery added what they were missing last year, and Lundqvist found the consistency
-
so.... Commish is not gonna become a Pain Train for the Sens?
-
Pens have a shot on winning it. and with series 1-1 going to their barn, they don't necesarilly look that bad. considering the fact, that Sens have yet to lay a goose egg and hand Pens a win in this series...
-
can somebody show this to Trotz and his sissies so they could see how men solve problems? yes, it's not about hitting from behind, but abut standing face to face. Pens tie it!
-
no doubt about it, whatsoever
-
nope. Pens are a team on a mission. Flames are not. they will be better tomorrow, but I can't see them having this jump and this will to win
-
I'd rather talk about fans who have brains and forget some number of ppl who wear homer-glasses and demand this strange kind of "justice" this applies to both Red Wings' and other teams' fans. let's not waste our time for plain homers

good that the league sent a signal that it's not gonna let such crap unpunished. I'm not sold on the fact that it is Radulov, but of all scapegoats here he's the most reasonable call, so to say. mixed feelings about that. leaning towards aproval for Campbell and co. to show some balls.

same with me. I'd not usually call Cleary guilty of things like that, but I see a good logic behind a run like that. it should be more blatant to have desired effect (to piss Flames that way to make them run like crazy next game and take penalties leading straightfowrward to another loss) but it's still imaginable to me, that Dirty Dan might have wanted it

honestly? Flames are done in 4-5 games. 5 if they steal one at home, but no more. Playfair is clueless and his team is cold. they may get it done, but Wings have good team chemistry, skills, excellent teamwork and they are hungry. they look like a team to go deep and Flames, judging after the end of the season and Game 1 are simply not this level. my prediction? Flames do not get back on track this series. seriously, they were pretty lucky to advance to playoffs (or Dives started their run to late) and show no signs of being hot team, willing to win it. their media can say whatever they want, but these Flames are not 2004 team and the Wings are not 2004 Wings. I'm the one to usually see things in dark colours, but I like these Wings I saw in Game 1 and simply can't imagine Flames reaching this level.

not when the league reviews the calls and decides one of them was not legit. which is BS, but is working as we can see. stinks like hell but so it is

rivalry is when you compete directly for some common goal. that would be Stanley Cup usually. and until we meet Preds this playoffs there's no speaking of rivalry anyway. and as for regular season... I wouldn't call this a rivalry. maybe them, similar to Blues, see it this way, but in my book having an ass spanked 8-0 or 6-1-1 in season series does not constitute a rivalry. an inferiority complex, if ever. we grow passionate hatred to Predators because they're our direct competitors in the division and have a history of gooning our players. but to make it rivalry there needs to be some common playoff grief. for that we need at least this year meeting, which will require Ducks beating Wild (seems likely for now) Wings to advance (quite likely if you ask me) and Predators winning it with Sharks (and frankly, I can easily imagine SJ winning it). the intensity will be there and neckless coach will definitely add to the hatred. if so, then I'll call this rivalry. for now I'll leave it at competition and some bad feelings (based on the reputation) towards the other team

if you call a success Sammy throwing a series of identical 60ft shots from clear lane, and other than that giving no hustle and hence virtually neutralizing Lazy and he sucks's line - fine. I'm calling it a disaster which leaves Wings a 3-line deep team with the 2nd scoring line being a dummy. with Bert this line was on fire and they brought B or even A game. I sure as hell want Bertuzzi back there and adding depth to the team and creating scoring opportunities. Sammy back to the bench and keep it warm while those who care are on the ice. or let him handle the gatorade bottles sitting Bertuzzi for 1/3 of playoff games spares Ken Holland draft picks, which are of huge importance for the franchise right now and it also leaves us valuable asset and an ace we could play in the wanning moment to get the best of other teams we face. and finally, his health is still some issue and it's good to give him rest when possible if for no other reasons, those above are quite legit in my eyes

what rivalry? against a team that have never ever won a playoff series? and the biggest splash it makes in the league is subsequent "suspend or not" headlines? oh puhlease... they're not even getting past Sharks this year...
-
out of the career? nope, not a single NHL player or even athlete deserves that in my book. this includes Tootoo, and even the very ultimate ***** Lemieux out of playoffs? yes, sure. I'd love Sharks to take the bounty and hunt either Floppa or Queen Paul as a retaliation for the crap Hartnell did to Cheechoo. as for Radulov - I really don't see him being a goon in the Hartnell league. he's a different type of player, unfortunate to play for this neckless b*ch. I sure hope Sharks take liberties next game and get down some core Predators forward out of playoffs. but not of the career. that's a big difference to me.
