from the TSN website, quote of the day: Predators head coach Barry Trotz on the rough going in Game 2 of their series with the Sharks. comment: yes, Barry, these Sharks are goons, and your Predators are team Jesus Christ / Dalai Lama, and guys like Tootoo and Hartnell are all Lady Byng candidates. get f* real, *******! and stop acting shameless. you got what you deserve and stop whining like Craig from Edmonton

harold said it. let's wait until (if) Flames bring their A game and then judge how it's going. Playfair was pretty much lost and had no clue what to do in Game 1. Iggy was brainless and just when you expected him to "do something" he did... started a parade to the penalty box. and with score 1-4 when it was the Flames who were supposed to do some dirty s***, it was Cleary who virtually run Kipper pumping the Flames up to get back to Game 2 and start rough (and continue with their excursions to the penalty box ) Wings brought their A game to JLA. considering the fact that they were not playing their usuall style of hockey and still excelled, I'm willing to give them A+ for this sole Game 1 and wish this tranlates into next games. but let's be real - Calgary will come back this series and play better.

Wilson will unleash his people to go after Queen Paul and Floppa, and frankly, he has players to do the same dirty job as Predators do. ooops, pardon, I meant unintentional, accidental hits I was usually one to defend Nashville but I'm f* tired of those endless unintentional hits, unintentional injuries, unintentional runs headfirst into the boards, unintentional knee hits, etc. and this neckless guy behind the bench who justifies just about every s*** his players do. heck, he'd paint Hartnell saint even if he raped some chick right in the middle of the rink with a tune like: "this is part of hockey". nope, Barry, that isn't. running reckless, turning around with your chuckles at head level, tripping, sending opposing players into the boards is not the way you play hockey. once in a while it happens but not every single f* game. I'm tired of this crap which they call a team. I want Sharks to destroy them and do it really painfully. heck, I want some big nasty Stevens-like hit on Floppa to send him and this bunch of goons out of the playoffs. optionally, that could be Queen Paul or Tootoo. and a note to all defenders: yeah, I see need for toighness in hockey. I just can't justify those "unintended" accidents every single game. and am fed off with the number of players they injured this season. that's enough

my nod also goes to Sammy, who impressed me with his parade of 60ft shot from the same angle yesterday, and with having no will to chase the puck. and he was brutal at neutralizing entire Lazy and he sucks line. better than Flames D-men Rex on the other hand, was on his good level and I'd most certainly prefer to see him on the roster

Yelle is a *****. what the f* are you trying to do. stop watching Star Wars *******, and fight with your fists, pansy!

it's not about Wings. Iginla has done things like that before against many teams. for example against Tampa when his team lost SCF - just to name a good example of his blatant lowering of standards. I like this guy very much, but he's doing it completely unneccessary(sp) and that hurts his rep

remotely is a good word here nope, Sammy looks uninspired to me and he continues to shot the puck from the same angle with the same strength (or the lack of).
-
Iggy is a monster of a player when his team shows up for the game. but once Flames are deep in s*** he has a habit of downgrading himself to that low class of behavior. nothing against him, but he should stop playing Nashville type of game (which I refuse to call hockey)
-
can Babs take Samuelson off this place where he's making a shot after another, all of them having no sense and no chance of going in? please? can we have a player there, who at least has an idea of how to do something with the puck and try something creative?
-
Iginla is making an ass of himself. as usual when his team plays like s*** and he is supposed to show something and Phaneuf just showed what a cheap ***** he is
-
that was a pass, I guess
-
Flames players fighting for puck with each other... priceless
-
I guess they have some brains and see this is their team not getting it done this time. now if that was Nashville, the guilty party would be 1) McGoo (obviously), 2) Wings conspiration, 3) their team playing not enough physical (in usual sense: trying to injure other players), 4) other team players diving and hence omiting unintentional (obviously) knees and arms of Preds goons (pardon: physical forecheckers), 5) poor refs not aware of rules and calling a charging when you try to protect yourself with your arms high from incoming player
-
they are yet going to goon things up and possibly try hunting our players. Babs better sit Pavel and Hank for some shifts in 3rd. put Lang's line on ice, give some time to Flip, and don't risk them trying to injure our scorers
-
BTW: once you see a group of 3 Flames players caught in Wings zone stripped off the puck AND staying there motionless and idealess for a while you know they gave up this game and just want to get back to their hotel
-
do you have the impression that Sammuelson is killing Lang-Cleary pair? get Bert back there. he at least made Cleary and Lazy and he sucks work worth the effort
-
Markov is playing fine D this game making good passes and not turning pucks over
-
nice hustle Cleary!
-
whoa... gotta love when the Wings play with such focus and control the games this way they sure look legit to me now
-
whooooa... just about when I though Flames went to deep and Wings may catch them with their pants down :DDDD
-
Wings: a lot of energy and hustle, plus some good luck Flames: pretty tight in own end, some strong forechecking, but lack the jump and will to win it. for now we've been outworking them with some margin and you see this on scoreboard.
-
what the f* is McGoo doing? he's whistling a call, then let's Wings play, then stops the action and sends some Wing to the box. where's the logic in this?
-
is it just my impression, or did Kipper look lame at this goal. and BTW: Flames don't look that bad as the score indicates. but the Wings seem to have a lot of energy and will to win it. gotta love that

19897 NHL1. was supposed to display NJ/TB but for now its Wings scheduled 15678 NHL3 doesn't work for me, either
