yeah... the oringal stanley cup (dominion trophy) which is JUST the bowl at the top was retired in 1963 because it became too brittle. a authenticated replica was made and that has been used ever since. there is another replica (without the spelling errors) which is only ever displayed at the HHOF when the cup is out and about.. the one going around is the ACTUAL stanley cup from 1963

Coach Q would be great in San Jose. That way they're pretty much guaranteed to never beat us... but yeah McLelland is unterviewing with San Jose and Atlanta. I think it's a good move by the Wings. If the assistant coaches want to do their own team, then why shouldn't they? i imagine the same would be true of Jim Nill, but he doesn't actually want to go anywhere else. the Red Wings brain trust is highly sought after by pretty much the entire league. I imagine they'res some big money out there if they wanted it.

it's a good move.. if it doesn't work out, or his game goes to s*** they'll waive him and he'll go to Grand Rapids. It's not like he's going to be making more than the league minimum anyway. it's not as if we're in cap trouble this year, FAR from it actually.

They flew down Ken Daniels to call the game, but he handed it over to Ken Kal to call the last 30 seconds... there is no 'video' of redmond/daniels because there was no fsn broadcast. It was exclusive to CBC/NBC/NHL International

does it really matter how many? everyone who wanted to go and could go did... everyone else watched it on the net or the TV... i guess it just proves Tiger Woods was right.. no one watches hockey anymore
