i haven't posted in here yet but from what i saw of it... yes it was a risky play, but what isn't in the NHL? the entire sport of hockey is a risk, just look at Kronwall last year. Missed the playoffs because of a nothing hipcheck into the boards. i love that hasek did it. i loved the action of it. i'm glad gaborik wasn't injured, but it's his risk. he cheated on the play got on a break away and he's incredibly fast. he's gotta look up there, he knows hasek comes out of his crease a lot. was it a penalty or not? i don't know was it the RIGHT play for hasek? yes, i think so, i think i would still think so even if gaborik was injured, i'm just thankful he wasn't but it was the most exciting thing to happen at a wings game this year, and everyone in the hockey world is talking about it today. That's not a bad thing.

for some reason you can't subscribe to ESPN360 in the UK. So they open the season here, but it is LITERALLY impossible to watch any games. i can't subscribe to ESPN360, NHLCIO. I don't live in a cable area so i can't get NASN. I'm the definition of f***ED.

they do.. it's called Center Ice Online but it's not available in europe due to their exclusive contract with NASN over here, which is why i'm stuck with radio feeds.

hatrick dick could be a star if Hakan Anderson is right, and lets face it, he usually is. the swede we got last draft...Andersson i think, also looks like he could be special. i like the fact that now that Draper and Maltby are nearing the end of their carreers were drafting players of their ilk and not just the skill guys. I still have high hopes for Helm as well.

it feels to make that Anaheim is waiting for Selanne and Neids to come back, and they seem in sort of limbo at the moment. i would be better if they'd just make a decision and even if they don't come back, it will allow the Ducks to just get on with it... must be infuriating for a ducks fan (ha ha ha!!!) - not that i'm bitter. + they signed Bertuzzi, for 4 mill...which was just a massive mistake.

i think it's god a lot to do with natural ability. most of the guys there are great stick handlers, only one different is Kariya who has a rocket of a shot. the reason i guess they're not listen in % is that they've taken into consideration the goalie fact, and the situation (ie game winner, game saver, etc).. they missed the fact that one only (i think) has ever saved a Datsyuk PS though. He's either missed, or hit the most on the not sucessful attempts.
