they had the same thing vith VS at the beginning of last season i belive. fan pressure eventually made them get it.

Dats and Z look awesome, but they'll not be playing on the same lines.. if you're looking for a good sleeper fantasy pick try Franzen (who'll be playing on a line with Dats) or Samuelsson or Hudler (who will be playing with Z)..

i think we should pick up Fred Braithwaite and Dan Cloutier to be our #1 goaltending tandem!

It also adjusts the times for your timezone as well, which is pretty good. seems pretty cool, - looks as if all the teams are using the system

Babcocks been talking up Ryno since the prospects camp, but i'm amazed he's being considered for the Wings... this is for the 13th forward spot, and i'd imagine Ryno would get a hell of a lot more playing minutes in GR, especially since this is his first season in the US. Downey's ice time's been dropping all the time. He played what? 6 minutes last night. Obviously Babcock doesn't think his "skills" are what we need. I can't say i disagree with him.

at present if you go to the website at about game time, they removed the log on screen and you can get the games from whereever... red wings game isn't listed though tongiht :/ i'm in the UK and i'm currently waching the buildup to the Sens/Caps game

i'll stand by your statement too. i don't see any point of fighting in hockey.. am i offically banned from the 5000 enforcer threads that pop up here every year now? oh please no.. i just can't take it btw i was actually commenting on the end of the 2nd posts about "baseless insults towards downey like you guys did with norton".. brad norton was a bad hockey player. i've yet to see downie play, so ican't make any comment on his "hockey ability". if he can chip in in a 4th line role effectively, then why not?...but Brad Norton couldn't, mainly because he's a defenseman. what he was doing playing at forward in the 1st place i don't know. theres nothing i hate more than those staged fights when two enforcers come on the ice, grab each other for a while adn then you don't see them for the rest of the evening. thats an utter waste of a roster spot if you ask me. if downie can play, then he should play regular 4th line mins...if he can't, then he shouldn't be a Red Wing

baseless? norton was a bad hockey player.. you know they sent down norton so they could bring up filpulla... would you have prefered flip to spend the season in the minors while we have a guy who fights every once in a while and otherwise does nothing? i certainly wouldn't... enforcers are about as usefull as a hole in the head. just look at boogard the other night
