no news as far as i'm aware... mlive or any of the other usual sources haven't reported anything

i wouldn't be suprised if some asshat teams purposely make bad ice to fk us up... in the fa cup (football, or soccer) lower division teams will often waterlog their pitch so that the premiership team can't play a passing style.. we've struggled mightily on bad ice this year...those 2 games in san jose come to mind, and they've got crap ice.

I know this had been mentioned before but it was confirmed today. The NHL will open the new season with 2 game between the Kings and the Quacks at the O2 Arena on the 29th and 30th September.. booked my tickets today i haven't been to a NHL game since Hartford left the league...is been a while, just a shame the Red Wings couldn't be the Kings opponents. Apparently the Kings are having some of their training camp Europe as well and will play some exhibition games.

at the end of the day winning the division doesn't matter. the top 8 in the west are all strong and of pretty much equal ability... it doens't matter where we finish as long as he have home ice advantage, which we should get
