no thanks on either... i'm more than happy with McCarty/Downey as our token enforcer and i really don't rate Demitra. Plus they'res no way we can get him for 3 mill i'd resign Chelios, trade Qunicy or Meech. sign a top 6 foward. Maybe Naslund. But i'd just be as happy if we did nothing other than resign our RFA's... we're damn well set up already. Best defense in the league by a mile already.

if we do sign him, you guys are suddenly going to love Sammy as he's like him, except with none of the defensive effort and he's as soft as spreadable butter... people saying he's a better Hudler are wrong. Hudler may be small, but he's far from soft. He's a battler and he's a suprisingly good on the boards. Huselius' has never been within 5 feet of the boards. the only good thing about this signing would be hearing bud lynch call him combinations of his name from Kristian Huetloose to Kristian Useless all year, and that would be damn funny.

and why not? Grand Rapids *should* have a good team this year.. although i said that last year as well and look what happened there we need 4 goal tenders in the system, and i'd prefer a NHL backup to challenge Howard rather than an AHL backup like Berkhoel
