On my CI schedule on DISH, scroll thru the schedule until the time the actual game starts. There you will see the game info PLUS the feed DET or PHX on each channel. Edit: Course my LIVE feed tonite will be SEC 116 ROW G Seats 1 & 2.

Interesting since I just moved from LA and listened to all the whining when the Angels changed their name to whatever. I believe I've read here that as part of the negotiations with Ice Edge or Dorf or whomever ends up with the team, the current arena owner the City of Glendale wants the name changed to either the Glendale or AZ Yotes. So technically, if they stay they will be moving.

Yeah, she prolly will assuming I get her one beforehand. We've been watching the team develop over the years since they've been the most entertaining of the Pacific Time Zone crew (tho miss watching Gretz get absolutely tomato red b4 just blowing all over the place). Tip has done a great job with this team and they deserve to be here. So she's actually going to root for both teams and may the best team win. Which is really what being a fan is all about - she won't root any less for the Wings (so she sez). So yeah, with everything that's been going on with the move here and all she gets a Yotes jersey - whacha gonna do?!? TMI? Edit: Drinks are on the locals!

Funny you should mention.... Tried for first row behind net but not happening. Ended up 7 rows back. Plz no PS again (and TG no shootout!). I'll hit up Kenny on the bench during preskate and tell him to find a shot of us since we've compromised - The Fairest Of All Fair Maidens 2nd fav team is the Yotes and she didn't really want to see this matchup until later (mitigating factor - we get to go to games NOW). OK let's put summin to bed here - I'm generlizing that 'some' of you live N of 8 Mile (again, I'm generalizing). What's it take to get down to Jerry Lewis - 30 to 40 minutes? I'm in Scottsdale (nice place they say) bout 25-30 miles away and I can get to Jobber in about 35 minutes. Its located on the 101 Loop which is about a 45 mile or so loop (natch) that half-circles PHX proper. It's not downtown but it's not that hard to get in and out of. Much easier for a hockey game than 70K+ for football right next door (and they had that many for rasslin there the other night - go fig). So the 'it's too far' is just poo - somewhere is always too far for somebody.

Just moved to the area but been watching the team for awhile - initially just to watch Gretz blow-up once a week, but surprisingly the team became interesting to watch. Ironic that throughout this mess they became a better team - Tip gets the majority of the credit for such. Not sure if Ice Edge will takeover or not, but the chatter here is that if Reinsdorf gets involved, he wants an out with Glendale if the team doesn't meet certain numbers. Which I think is fair currently. The playoffs probably are not gonna be the best gauge. What will be is how deep they go and if they're competitive next year - then attendance can be gauged appropriately. If what's true elsewhere - that a winner brings out fans - can\will be applied here. They show up for the Suns who play downtown at US Air Arena which I understand had problems with its config for hockey. So off to Glendale they went. It's not a bad locale for 'fans' and the arena itself is nice and new if not a lil sterile. I think they should be given another year to see what happens. Course the specter of 'giving them one more year' could be a double-edged sword to the fans.

Alas I'm up to my arse in boxes as we now reside about 30 minutes from where the Yotes play. Have to admit its really nice and quiet here and for another week the games are on an hour later (dont get me started on DST). We'll do our best to represent the thong throng at Jobing (if we can get use to the name). We're going to keep our RWNW credentials just in case we ever get stopped. Thx for the memories!

Well, you know that we can't make it cuz we're going to PHX to look for a place to live (Yotes tix are cheaper than Kings tix!). If you wont play Helmer on the 1st line, at least throw him in there on that 4-3. Face it - he gives you more O and he's prolly better on D than Rafi (should someone get loose). He could be even more useful than he is if you put him with some stellar players. Plz? Thank you.

OK then, I'm gonna shoot for Gold with you bastions of hockey acumen - I do agree that frankly his offense sucks. And what you may see as average I see as spunk (not to be confused with grit). Remember in the playoffs when he single-handedly tied up the puck on the forecheck for like 40 seconds or so in the offensive zone on the PK? Well heck, lets turn him into a D man (ala Dandy). His speed may get in the lane occasionally and stop some of those shots. And he'd be good fodder in replacing Lebda - you'd have some fresh meat!

Well I would normally say just order it because 'every game counts'. But some of our latter games better count more than some of more recent games, so maybe waiting would give you a better ROI vs TPA%. Oh, discount previously has gone down to $99 - think the timing was mid to late Jan but not exactly sure.

It doesn't matter if you have the REGIONAL sports package - FSNs, MSG, Comcats's etc. For the subscription packages DISH offers - CI, MLB, NBA, you cannot get ANY games outside of your 'home market' (you're on your own there) on the regionals (the dreaded 'Not Available In Your Area'). Period. Gotta pay to play. You'll still get the stuff on the majors - NBC, ESPN (ha!), WGN, FOX, TBS, etc. but VS is it's own animal. Since its my reply box, couple other points: Kanadian hockey coverage just based on its sheer volume is the best in the English speaking world (I dont know how coverage is in Quebec and the rest of the world becuase I don't understand the language). Because of said volume, some are informative (and entertaining), and some not so much. Since I no longer get the feed from the North, it's greatly missed. I'll try and tune in any TSN game on CI at intermissions just to get news from the panel. I couldn't imagine not being able to see every Wings game. That being said I wish I would have missed a few this year (tho I did miss last years 0-8 catastrophe that included the Loss of Pylon). I've noticed that there seems to be a ton of teams showing fewer games on their respective regionals this year (Kings, Dux, Yotes - hmmmm, is there a pattern there or is it just cause I'm the LeftCoast?). And to the Nucks fan, how many of your games (if you're in their home market), do you have to PPV for? At like 12.95? Don't believe we have PPV here down south. Then again, not many would pay such for the aforementioned named teams). And does STL still have some contractual issue where some of their local games are televised but not available through the local cable\sat transmissions (as well as on CI at times)?
