I like most hockey fans think the allstar game is a joke but it would still be nice if Jimmy got to play. In all honesty in regards to play and stats Elliot and Howard are the most deserving in the West. There's no way they both get in though, so who's getting screwed? Howard is more deserving i think because he's played more but who knows. The system of getting into the allstar game is very flawed in my opinion.

I was surprised Howard and Elliot both got to play, but I'm very happy that two guys that deserved to be there got to play.

Ott's numbers are a bit better than Jones over the last two years. I don't see Jones as just plug, other than Andelkader Detroit doesn't have guys up front that hit a lot. I think we need at least one more player like this to compete physically in the playoffs. If he were to play with Justin, I think they might be able to feed off each other.

I see Jones play from time to time and I think he's as good a player as Ott. Let's face it, Dallas is very unlikely to want to trade Ott being in the middle of the playoff race.

Wings powerplay is brutal, they got a month and a half to get it figured out are we're probably screwed. I don't know what they're doing out there, they have no flow and they're getting hardly any shots through. Canucks outplayed us in that period, better come out with a better effort in the second or the lead wont last long.

I hope we get a forward with grit that can chip in offensively, but what Holland will do is anyone's guess.

They're like two different teams. Great at home, but horrible on the road i don't get it. Most years they're one of the best road teams. It's like they fix one problem and then they get another issue that they used to be good at.

The Stars have been outshot in every game i've watched them play this year, if Kari was in Winnipeg now they would be in the playoffs. It's funny how he was injured every year he played in Atlanta, so they trade him and now he's an All Star.
