This is a great idea in theory, but i'd be shocked if it ever happened. Travel would be a huge issue.

I've seen him play twice this year in Chilliwack, where I live and he wasn't noticeable in either game. His numbers this year are ok, but far from exciting.

Yeah he sucks so much he's won two Cups as the starter. How quickly some people forget.

I totally agree with the first poster. It's even hard for me to cheer for Canada at the Olympics now because of that little whiner, not to mention having the two Duck punks on the team

Excuses are like assholes only s*** comes out. No seriously that one has been beaten to death. The fact is they just don't have it this year. Terrible seasons for Z, Pasha, Nik, and Rafi spells doom for Wings. They could get hot at the right time and go on a run, but I don't see it happening. If they continue playing like this they won't even make the playoffs.

Weeks is right about the goal, it shouldn't have counted. We got lucky, but then again I think we did deserve to win that game, we had more scoring chances, but just couldn't finish. So it all worked out at the end of the day.

Your right, I saw the highlights of that game on NHL on the Fly and the only reason the leafs won that game was because of the Monster. He stood on his head in the second and third periods. With the amount of point blank chances that the canes had that game could have easily been a blowout in their favour.

Forsberg is old and washed up, not to mention he can't stay healthy. he certainly wouldn't solve their goaltending problems. -
Bertuzzi is a turnover machine and that explains his -5 plus minus rating so far this season. He's had no finish so far this season either, oh ya and he's slow.

So basically we got three NHL dmen and three dmen that should all be playing in the minors tonight. Ozzie gonna have to stand on his head for us to have a chance tonight.

Totally agree with you. Then again i'm not surprised at all with all this negative talk. Wings fans have become very spoiled and that includes myself.

8 points in the first 9 games is a lousy start if your the Detroit Red Wings. However it is still very early in the season.

All it takes to make into the playoffs is stay within ten points of that 8th spot and get red hot the last quarter of the season. Pittsburgh and St.Louis proved that last year.
