I say we go after Edler this summer if he's not signed by July.

They could use the Radulov thing that happened last year as an excuss. They weren't very happy about him being aloud to play last year with Nashville, although they stole him first with one year left on his NHL deal. I think if KOVY wants to stay they will let him.

Canada had a stacked team due to the lockout, they chocked really badly. I was very surprised and disappointed how bad they performed against the States. The Americans deserved to win the game and that's that. The way some of us went off after the fact was pretty pathetic, but not all that surprising. Like others have said, there's always people that overeact when their team losses.

I think Stamkos could possibly score 40 in 48-50, but no way anyone gets 50.

No way in hell they give us free center ice, although it had better be half price for a shortened season. Either way i will pay for it because i'm a hardcore fan and it's the only way i get to see all the Wings games.

Visnovsky files NHLPA grievance to void NYI trade

Now he's saying he wont return to the NHL. The Islanders have no luck whatsoever, now I guess will see if the KHL lets him play once the NHL starts up again. -
Finland looks good this year, they beat Canada 3-2 and spanked the US 5-1 in the pretourney. They won easily in their opener against a weak Latvia team 5-1.
-
I'm glad he calls us dirty, that means we're hard to play against. If we are able to shut his line down, we should beat the Russians. He was invisible against the Slovaks today and they barely won 3-2 in OT.

Ouellet scored the first goal in Canada's 9-3 win over the German's today. It was a bounce off a defenseman's foot, but still nice to see him score and finally a Wings prospect playing for Canada. Drouin looks more impressive than MacKinnon to me. He's scored in the last two games, including a beauty against the swedes in the pretourney.

Late hit for sure, but 3 games seems like a lot to me. The reason it was three was the injury.

Mrazek has struggled a bit lately, while McCollum has been solid lately. Last night the Griffs got shutout 3-0 by a Peoria team that is in 13th place in the conference. Mrazek let in 2 goals on 31 shots, decent game but his team didn't help him any. McCollum has had the best numbers of his career so far with a decent 2.47 GAA and .909 save percentage, which are still average numbers at best. Mrazek despite struggling a bit lately still has better numbers, with a 2.39 GAA and a .915 save percentage.

Can't wait for the world juniors.

Got to see him play on sportsnet a little while ago. He's got a cannon and scored on the PP from the point. He needs to work harder in the corners howerver.

Report: Prospect Tvrdon out for season, reported blood clot in arm
Jaymister replied to rrasco's topic in General
Too bad, he was playing on a week Giants team, but possibly could have been traded to better team later in the season. Hopefully he pulls through this ok. -
Most years I pay little attention to this series. This year however, there was nothing better to watch so i watched all but the first game. The games were entertaining until the CHL teams started playing a 1/4 conservative trap in the 4th game. The WHL couldn't score to save their lives scoring only one goal in two games and the Russians won game 8 easily. This marks only the second time the Russians have won this series in over ten tries. They seemed to send a weak roster a lot of times in the past, but now they're sending most of their top players, which has made it much more competitive.

http://www.tsn.ca/nba/story/?id=399919 I'm a big Steve Nash fan, but I can't stand Kobe. I think he made a good decision nonetheless, but there's no way I'm gonna rout for the Lakers.

Not a bad cap hit for a guy that has a ton of potential. -
Way to much money for a one dimensional player.

Not a bad cap hit for a solid #3 dman. -
The addition of Carlo gives us some much needed depth but we're still probably middle compared with the rest of the league.
-
I would take Cody Bass or Stefan Legein, both good tough guys. Neither bring a lot of offense, but both are tough as nails.

Bruins Sign Forward Lucic to 3-Year Extension.

Lot a money, but I say he's worth it. -
Ya the fact that a guy like Mike Richards is fourth on this list, gives it no credibility. Sure Emmerton didn't produce much last season, but few rookies that spend the whole year on the fourth line do.

And now they picked up Howard, they're looking like the team to beat now. -
To little to late, they already got their titles.
