I hate the Red Wings.

Yeah, the "shoot the puck from the blue line" strategy doesn't work too well when all of our puck-shooting defensemen are injured.

I think we have our playoff starter.

Why does it always seem like they're not really trying to score, they're just trying to get the puck to the net? It's like they're not even thinking about beating the goalie...just throwing it at the net and hoping it bounces off something and goes in. They have all these chances with a clear shot, and they just throw the puck right into Turco's chest.

Yeah, really... He's making it sound like every Red Wings win this season was a blowout.

Anaheim..just because I can't wait to see the Wings play them again. Realistically, anyone other than Anaheim, San Jose, and Vancouver.

This game really shows how much Rafalski sucks defensively, and how easy it is to stop our "shoot from the blue line" offense.

The fastest skater competition was just...lame.

Rafalski makes a ton of mistakes, especially considering he's making $6 million a year. I don't get why everyone is always saying he's so great. He's actually pretty overrated... It'll probably get even worse in the playoffs when teams start blocking all of our shots from the blue line again.

If that's true, then that's why we're going to lose in the playoffs. Trying to bring the puck in all the time just won't work.

This is exactly why we're going to have a really hard time winning the Cup..same story as last year's playoffs. The Sens came into this game with a game plan designed specifically for the style we play. They made adjustments to shut down our attack. Meanwhile, the Wings are still taking stupid shots from 70ft away. Datsyuk is still trying to stickhandle into their zone instead of dumping the puck in and going after it. Babcock isn't smart enough to adjust his game plan based on what the other team is doing. All he can think of is switching up the lines until something happens.

I'd rather have Niedermayer/Pronger than Lidstrom/Rafalski.

We're already getting it with his current salary. Just compare that to what Schneider and Rafalski are getting

We don't need Schneider. We already have enough players that constantly take shots from the point only to have them blocked and turned into breakaways. We need defensemen that can actually...defend . A big, physical defenseman that won't get outmuscled in battles for the puck near the boards would help...

I really hope Sammy won't be on the first line. If he is, he should be banned from shooting the puck.

Kronwall has been no worse defensively than Rafalski.

It seems I say this in every post, but Babcock is an idiot. I understand that he wants scoring balance, but he's tried splitting up Datsyuk and Zetterberg a million times and it NEVER works. They always end up back together because there's no scoring with them on separate lines. Those two players are just too good together to split up. I'll take the best line in hockey over 2 average lines. If Babcock wants secondary scoring, maybe he should try keeping the lines together for once and let them develop some chemistry. It seems like he switches up the lines practically every shift. And for god's sake, keep Samuelsson out of the top 6. Filppula works his butt off with the puck and Sammy just throws a weak shot right into the goalie's chest from 50 feet away. I wouldn't mind him if he was a depth forward, but Babcock is apparently intent on having him on the top 2 lines and the power play.

I went to ticketmaster.com looking for tickets (thinking about going to the game against Carolina), and it keeps offering me tickets behind the net (upper bowl). I'm looking for seats near center ice. Does this mean that the seats at center ice, or at least the quantity I want, have already been sold? And can I go to an actual Ticketmaster location or the box office at the Joe and ask for tickets in a specific section? Sorry, I'm a n00b. Thanks
