I think that if age has really caught up to Hasek, he'll quit before the Wings give up on him. It's happened before when Hasek declared his season over due to injuries. If he can't play at the top of his game, he won't play. Osgood has been amazing this season and, without a doubt, deserves to start, but Hasek was signed to be the #1 guy. And if Hasek can get his game back, I'd rather have him in net than Osgood. I'd give him until the middle of the season and if he's still playing like crap, then Osgood should definitely take over.

I think Rafalski was far worse than Hasek tonight. That was a sweet dive by Hasek!

I hate how they always blow the whistle when the goalie hasn't actually secured the puck. Can't complain, though..it actually went in our favor for once :-D That intent to blow the whistle rule is pretty funny. It's like, "Hey, that goal can't count! Sure, I didn't make the save, but I INTENDED to make it!"

Sounds like when he does come back, he won't be fighting right away :-P

They really should stop shooting the puck from the blue line every time they get possession and actually try to bring it in deep. All of our shots are getting blocked... Ozzie is awesome tonight, though

Shouldn't make any difference. Schneider will be gone 4 weeks. And they still have about 2 weeks until the season starts. It's not a big deal.
