I'll wait to pass on any kudos until the next game to see if he can pick it up or not. He's had one goal, and it took a ton of shots to get it. Honestly, I think switching sides helps with him. The question is, can he do it again, or do I hear 'Samuelsson-shot, and it's wide of the net' over and over. I'm not here to bash him, but I just want to wait and see if he can pick that aspect of his game up. Now, that aside, I have noticed him working a little harder, skating faster, and using the body a little more, the last couple games. Atta boy, Sammy, keep it up.

Completely agree! With his turnovers last playoffs, and below mediocre play at the start of the season, I am in a giddy state of shock (happily) with his current play. While he was showing signs of strong defensive play, on occasion, I think there was a defining moment when he stepped up, and his game has changed since. His first redwings fight (Moen). ENTER the PAIN TRAIN!!!

Here goes... nobody throw anything, I have my reasons... Robert Lang... Yes he just had a very timely goal (in fact 2 this post season) but, if he could actually pick it up, and play hard all game, I think it could be contagious (sp?) to the other players. If he can get a good goal like that playing as lack lustre as he has, just think how much he could contribute if he was playing hard. Hey, think, the other players are already playing harder than him. Why not? edit: clarity

No, no. You're right. He's been playing good through the p/o's. I don't think too many people would argue that. He's a different player from last playoffs. Heck, from regualr season. Maybe sitting out for a good chunk of the season lit a fire under his @$$! I say keep things like they are. If it ain't broke, don't fiix. it. Ok, maybe drop Sammy if we need to, no problems there.

Cheli rules. He plays with his heart. You can see it game in, game out. He always gives it his all, and has been a great player this post-season, as usual. He should stay as long as he keeps it up. Why is this question even asked?
