Hahahaha I watched that over 3 or 4 times on the dvr. My wife saw it and said why the heck would he pull his mouthguard out? They're like little children out there. Yeah, I said, they really are. Funny isn't it? She had to admit it was, but it still confused the hell out of both os us. He just reached out and took it.... So funny...

Ahhh. Thanks, that makes sense. That being said, who the hell would want to watch the game as it either appears only from one players view or when just on one player. That would drive me nuts. You would miss so much of the game. I get annoyed when the stations vary from the few standard camera views they use. I can't stand the overhead shot sometimes used at one end over the net. It's too far away from the rink.

The issue is that the Mayor of the city of Hamilton has recently said that any deal he makes for the use of Copps Coliseum would be to have the NHL team there permanently, not on a temporary basis. I think this would indicate the team would have to stay in Hamilton if they wanted to use Copps at all. However, I believe you are correct about Ballsilie's previous plans. I guess things have changed...

As long as the 1st seed always plays the 8th seed, and the 2nd seed plays the 7th seed etc, there will always be sweeps during the playoffs. Particularly in the first round. It only makes sense. The absolutely best teams are playing the absolutely worst teams (in the p/os). If they don't want as many sweeps, they will have to change the playoffs format. Maybe go back to intra-divisional rounds...

This Lebda is fast, but that seems to be it. He can make a good rush for/with the puck, but that's about it. As a specialist at preventing icing calls from being made against us, he would be good...
