I saw that they're having a "meeting" which means they'll sit around bulls***ting for an hour or two then announce that the "investigation" is closed and that Auger will be back on the ice tonight in Calgary. At this point I don't believe the NHL will do anything but stand by their people regardless of how glaringly obvious their misconduct is. Auger is responsible for some of the worst calls I've seen in all my years watching the NHL, this guy is a complete clown and the NHL's refusal to even properly investigate it despite VIDEO of him talking to Burrows on the ice before the game shows you how unprofessional this sport continues to be. I'm starting to feel like this is the most accurate Lazy and Sucks thread to appear over the years. Leino scratched for May again tonight.

The Red Wings are 2 for 41 on the power play over their last 11 games. Insanely bad. Glad to have the 2 pts but this isn't going to cut it by any means.

The only time I noticed Leino last night was when he was continually getting knocked on his ass along the boards...same as every game he's played this season. He needs to hit the gym or hit the road.

I feel like I've seen this dozens of times now...some no-name guy scoring his first career goal against the Wings. Hasek was particularly good at letting this happen back in the day.

Lidstrom and Rafalski are what, our 3rd best defensive pairing now? -3 on the night for both of them. Rafalski got smoked not once, not twice...but 3 times.

Lidstrom looked awful in the 3rd period and in OT last night. When he led the rush up ice then completely missed the net on his shot I thought I was watching Lebda for a second.

What are we watching Leino do again? I rooted for this guy to be on the roster, I was at the Caps game when he scored his first goal...but at this point he needs to hit the gym and step up his game, he's getting rocked out there every single night.

Adding McCarty to this list negated your entire argument. I'd have to say McCarty made a lot more than a "negligible" impact on the history of this franchise.

Exactly, I'm not expecting these guys to fight, but Leino is on his knees with even the slightest bit of contact on the forecheck. I thought maybe it would improve over time...but that's not the case.

Kinda sad that this call-up and our 38 year old enforcer are easily the toughest players on the team by a mile. I'm honestly starting to believe that Leino could get rocked on the boards by some of these peewees on Youtube.

Complimenting players currently on the roster is a LGW faux pas. You have to kick 'em when they're down, then make yourself scarce when they win two games in a row for you
