Not sure where all the random Bertuzzi hate comes from, other than people just hating on him. He has 9 points in 19 games putting him 7th on the team. Datysuk wasn't exactly on fire for the first 5-8 games, and Holmstrom can barely skate, don't put that all on Bert.

I think it's kinda bizarre they're taking May out in place of Maltby/Miller despite that last game being one of May's best. Is Florida supposed to be a speed threat?

It's ridiculous they can actually put out an official response to something so blatantly wrong and stand by their story. All this tells me is that Senior Vice President Mike Murphy is as completely full of s*** as the rest of the NHL management.

The real question is, why do you even bother reading NHL.com at all? it's a known issue, the site is a joke in terms of news selection and reporting.

Agree completely, not sure how people can stick up for the guy when the defense has completely collapsed under his guidance despite the same core group of highly skilled players. There's obviously an issue with what he's doing.

So you dig up my old post from a week ago because of last night's game? How many goals has Datsyuk scored? Is Ericsson a defensive liability at -3? Kronwall at -4? Give it a rest dude...

This is how I've felt about it, when I do notice him, it's because of his speed...but most of the game I barely even realize he's in the lineup.

Bertuzzi's performance tonight = /thread. Particularly in the 3rd period, he looked great out there.

Wings look so bad, I don't see any difference between this game and the previous ones. Sloppy and disjointed.

I can see this being a long, frustrating season. I've actually been wondering if Datsyuk had previously sustained some injury, because he's been completely uninspired so far this season.

May continues to look like a solid signing for $500k...every time he was on the ice he finished his checks, he had a couple of close scrambles in front of the net, and wasn't a defensive liability at all. There's no reason he couldn't play 4th line minutes throughout the entire season. I'd actually like to see the 4th line continue as it was in the lineup yesterday, Eaves didn't make a huge impact but he had energy and when he was on the ice I always noticed him. Did I mention how awesome it is not having Kopecky in the lineup anymore?

I'll give him credit, he's definitely trying to step up his game this time around (as he should).
