Do you actually think before you post? I just love the fact that somehow the Red Wings are now the "dirty cheaters" and Anaheim is just a hardworking skill team who isn't being given the proper respect and is being falsely accused of goon tactics. Classic.

This definitely applies and if the NHL had any modicum of professionalism in terms of officiating at least one if not two Ducks' players would be handed Game 7 suspensions. I still think it's highly unlikely the NHL has the balls to do it though...

No chance of the league suspending the Ducks' precious Niedermayer for even 1 game despite the overwhelming evidence that this is clearly an "intent to injure" type of play that is supposedly being "rooted out" by the league.

I know I've started a panic with one of these threads before, but any ideas why Game 5 isn't on VS or NBC? I checked my Center Ice last night and it's gone from the channel listing...currently it's looking like no national coverage for this game on Sunday?

Datsyuk draws a lot of attention from the opposing team, which in turn creates opportunities for other players who aren't being covered as closely. It's not like Datysuk is out there doing nothing every night...

I think I'd rather continue to see the Wings' smoke Hiller than go up against the Michelin Manâ„¢ with his epic padding for the rest of the series.

Um, I said I checked my Center Ice and it's no longer listed in the channel guide. It's already been replaced with the MLB Innings package. Since the game is on the NHL Network, it wouldn't have been on CI even if it was still active in my area, which it isn't.

Momentum and crowd energy have often changed after a winning fight for the losing team, that's why these guys try to start a fight and give their team a jump...
