While I did think it was stupid for Kopecky to get into a fight at that point in the game giving them a chance to gain some momentum (especially when you get your ass handed to you), he did take Beauchemin off the ice for 5 minutes, which was helpful since the Ducks' defensive core was already depleted.

Is this your first time seeing the Ducks play? It's not a claim, it's a fact. Pronger? suspended what 8 times? ring a bell? Goonery is the Ducks modus operandi. Apparently bitching and moaning is their backup plan.

Like I said, Holmstrom's elbow wasn't the reason Wisniewski was hurt, and that implication from Anaheim is cheesy at best.

They could have called him for the incidental contact, I don't disagree. My problem is with Carlyle continually running his mouth about Holmstrom's "dirty cheapshot" as if the elbow was what caused the initial injury to Wisniewski in the first place.

I fail to see how Holmstrom's elbow was "dirty". He's facing the opposite direction, spins around and happens to hit Wisniewski who was standing behind him crosschecking him in the back at the time. Lots of crying from the dirtiest team in the NHL.

Well then you've failed. I don't see the comparison between my statement that the ducks are led by the dirtiest player in the league (FACT) and that it obviously rubs off on their fans to someone openly making xenophobic comments against European players.

I'm still surprised that despite it being common knowledge, they allow him to play with the inner pads unbuckled creating an additional blocker on the inside of his legs. Commentators brought it up during the first game...seems even shadier than Michelin man's pads.

Do our current 4th line players have a good history of defensive responsibility? Maltby -9, Helm -7, Kopecky -7. Other than Helm, our 4th line is invisible. I don't think Leino is any more of a defensive risk than the current selection if that's how they're approaching it.
