Despite the man-crush people around here have, I'm going to have to go ahead and add Caps fans to that list. Of all the away games I've been to (Nashville, Boston, Dallas, even Colorado) I've never encountered bigger prick fans. You've got people trying to spit on you, throw beers at you, I've been in a fight outside the stadium, people in passing cars calling you a ****** even when little kids are around. That's why I will continue to say f*** the Caps and GO RANGERS.

Just an FYI to East Coast Comcast people...as of Tuesday they moved NHL Network into the 700 range in your channel guide (here it changed to 734 from 276). They didn't actually send out any notice, they just changed it

Agreed, I've come across 3 or 4 articles now from various analysts that continually cite 2006 as if nothing has changed since then. Agitating to say the least considering we did kinda, sorta win the cup last year.

Actually according to the Center Ice Round 1 schedule for my area (east coast) the game is now blacked out because of this...so unless you have NHL network here you're screwed. Today's lines still look better than yesterday's: Holmstrom-Datsyuk-Hossa Franzen-Zetterberg-Samuelsson Hudler-Filppula-Leino Kopecky-Helm-Maltby Although I'd like to see Hudler on the 2nd line and Samuelsson on the 3rd.

Continuing on the Devil's Advocate theme here, Kopecky finished the season -7, which actually equated to -11 in the final 3 weeks of the season. If we're talking defensive upside, I'm all for keeping Maltby in initially to see if he steps up, Kopecky needs to sit if anyone is going to.

This is the part that bothers me, even a few people I work with who aren't hockey fans thought it was odd not to give some preferential air time to the defending champions. This is pretty standard in most sports.

Versus seems to have no problem showing ALL of the Sharks vs. Ducks and ALL of the Blues vs. Canucks games...seems like they could have tried to air more than 1 game from the Wings series. I'd also prefer the games to be on Versus vs. Center Ice because Comcast doesn't offer Center Ice in HD, whereas all the games on Versus are HD here on the East Coast.
