I thought it was hilarious. The league would be pretty boring if we didn't have a few characters around...this particular incident was completely harmless.

That's really not good news about Lilja...it's a shame after struggling in the past he finally becomes a critical part of our defense and now he's sidelined. I still feel like they should have had him seeing specialists a lot earlier, but maybe they just haven't told us everything.

I don't know what "juvenile" behavior you're speaking of, but you seem to be turning nothing into something here. I was responding to another poster in the thread who had in turn responded to my original post before that. No one was talking about you or to you. You made the thread with your original purpose in mind, other people posted their opinions which immediately amounted to "Filppula is GREAT! haters don't know s***". My original point was valid, at least wait until the guy actually puts up a couple points in a game before citing a game we were shut out in as an example of his stellar play to the "haters" (which I am not one of, aside from stating that in my opinion his contract is too high and his play style is the softest on the team).

Looked like an OK hit to me, not dirty. This is the kind of play Mickey is always complaining about, players getting mad over clean hits that are just part of the game. Although it was their captain, so we've all had that debate before

Did you actually read any of the other posts other than your own in this thread? Regardless of your original intention, there are various people who did exactly what I said they were doing. Thanks for the name calling too, that helps your credibility.

Well, no one made a thread about "Dats, Zetter, Franz, Hudler or Hossa" saying OMG haters are wrong look what they did! either.

You guys do realize he didn't score last night right? these threads appear amazingly fast, you could have at least waited until after a game where we didn't get shut out to call people out Disclaimer: I still like Filppula, although I think he's incredibly soft (Hudler is more physical) and 3.5 million was too much money.

Don't you guys know when you make one of these threads questioning someones' skillz, they immediately go out and play even better. This works for current Wings' roster players as well as our rivals See: Samuelsson, Kopecky, Osgood.

I'd like to see Franzen sign no more than a 4 year deal max, between 3-4 million. He's going to want as much or more than Filppula got at least and he's probably right. Holland has worked his magic before, we'll just have to see how it plays out.
