A voice of reason in reference to Schneider, people constantly seem to forget that he was excellent for the Wings during his time here.

Aside from the Modano scratch, this one was a mystery to me as well. Kindl > Salei for at least the past 5-10 games. Salei has been just AWFUL lately.

Go ahead and throw me in there with LeftWinger...I'd much rather have Modano and his experience in the lineup than Hudler, regardless of the requisite statistical analysis explaining why Hudler wasn't a waste of a contract all season long.

You sure you're thinking of Modano? Sounds a lot like Franzen and Hudler all season long.

I find it completely bizarre that Babcock would scratch Modano against the Wild, preventing him from reaching his 1500th game milestone this season (he's at 1496 with 3 games left now). Modano has been skating hard and generating opportunities, and the Wild are a non-playoff team...was this really necessary? Scratching Miller against the Sabres earlier in the season when his whole family was in attendance also seemed like a dick move.

I'm certainly not holding a grudge, Babcock is the best coach in the league. I just thought these were strange decisions.

Modano has 5 points in his last 9 games, after recovering from a serious injury. Cut the guy some slack maybe? I'm guessing if he wants to come back next season, Holland will give it serious consideration.

I'm an active crew member on the Hudler Hate Machine...but I'll give him credit when it's due, he's been playing well lately. Let's hope he keeps it up

Really? So the Devils are being praised for playing the trap now? ZzZzZzZ I guess it's possible they could scrape into 8th place, by boring their opponents and the fans to sleep every night. Brilliant!

Really? Strange...having watched roughly 50 games this year it seems pretty obvious that Franzen won't even involve himself in a scrum when one of his teammates is getting pushed around by the opposition. Alright then, I'm out.

Is that an order? Don't hate just because Avery plays with more heart in the average game than a guy like Franzen has demonstrated this entire season.

We also seem to have a "No Fighting" and "No Hitting" policy that goes nicely with our shameful "Don't back your teammates up" policy.
