What a bunch of cheap shot artists the Flames are. Getting a good goslie off of his game has always been part of hockey. But when the goalie gets kicked out of a game and the rest of the team are using the stick with intent to injure, well, I lost all respect for the goons from Calgary. Goons and cheap shot artists.

He does seem to be a little gun shy after that hit. I dont think it was a bad hit, but it was definitrly a high shot. Maybe he is "shell shocked".

I heard "grumbles" at work about early games too. Me, I don't mind either way. What I hate though, is the 7pm PST games, it is 10 PM here, and when you get up at 6AM it makes for a grumpy person at work. Personally, I hope the NHL does the Wings right, and puts them in the eastern conference. I mean, they are an origional 6 team, and they should be playing those teams more than once every couple of years.

Lang had not played well for most (if not all) of this season. He still has some strength with the puck, but I wonder if he is just past it (36), or he is injured. Looks like he lost his will to play on a competitive level.

I know that the Flames didn't bring their "A" game lastnight. One of the problems with Detroit being in the Western conference is the 3 hour time difference. I think that Sunday's game will tell more of how the series will unfold. There are a few key injuries in this series, and I hope to see Bert play soon. I think he will have an impact on offense, and in the corners.

Glad to see Kenny did something. The current Wings team would not have made it far in the playoffs. Wings definitely got some size up front. I bet Chris is happy that there is no chance of getting such abuse either, lol.
