I can't believe that I'm actually replying to this thread, but here goes *SIGH* I think that Fedorov would make a great addition to the second powerplay line quarterbacking the blue line. He is good defensively and still is. His passing is impeccible, but unless we gave the bluejackets a bunch of used towels, he isn't worth giving up anything more. His attitude sucks, his heart is lacking and he is selfish. I don't think that Detroit is good for him (or us) any more. He was great in his hey day, too bad it came with drama.

Usually, I'm not one to really care about what most writers will talk about, but when you have one of the best starts in NHL history without any mention of it???? Kinda wierd. Yet another example of how Lidstrom makes another team mate look good! Just kidding! Osgood is hands down the most underrated goalie in the history of the NHL. Thank God, b/c it has really helped our cap space!

Couldn't agree with you more. He does have great hands, but he has degenerative disc disease and chronic low back pain. He will forever be a shell of a hockey player he once was. Next year will prove if he has what it takes, but I forecast that he'll be out most of the year!
