So who knows how long the Wings have failed to convert on the powerplay? I think they are long overdue!!!!! GO WINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Only 2 shifts. The PK has looked really good today. We need to start to force the play down low and we'll see the back of the net. They need to get Bert going into some physical scrums. He has been non exhistant today and poorly defensively positioned . come on wings!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't care how many games the Ducks win, just as long as the Wings win the last one! Too bad Hasek was sub par and we couldn't take advantage of Prongers absence. Good Luck on Sunday.

that makes up for the giveaway

UNBELIEVABLE!!!!! I agree, Hasek looks horrible!
-
Gotta start to get to the net and put one in to tie it up before the break!
-
I had that bad feeling and they cursed us (the announcers) Anyway, that was an absolutely beautiful goal. Too bad. come on boys
-
s***. Lack of communication.
-
Cleary the Warewolf!!!! Sustain the pressure. This has to be demoralizing for the Ducks. Quick goal and BAM. Tied up. Crowd out of it and sustained pressure by the Wings.
-
Franzen should have a big game. I love how all of the media have stopped suckin the duck.
-
Brain Burke is a wanker. nice pressure from the Wings.
-
Nice to hear Doug stick to his Detroit roots and be pro Wings in the pregame.

Thats awesome that Kronwall has started to skate! So here is the deal. During Game one and two the difference was the Wings scoring on the powerplay (or shorthanded). The message to the Ducks prior to game 3 was to stay disciplined. After game 3's debacle , they were in the box more than I can ever remember (or care to). Personally, I think that this is a huge advantage for the Wings. I think that they will be afraid to do anything physical in fear of a PP. How do you think that this will affect their play. \ Anyway, I can't wait to see Dom play tonight. I think that game 3's energy will carry over today. I hope that they can go up 3-1 unlike against Calgary and San Jose. GO WINGS

Congrats to the Whale! Used to like to go to games in at Compuware! Good ice to skate on as well, but the pick up games were brutal for me. I'd always get to play with some of those guys and they killed me.

From the standpoint of Niedermayer, I agree with you 100%. I think that he was finishing his check, its just that Homer was facing the boards. Pronger knew this and acted on it. There is no professional player that can't read and understand the position that he was in. As Wing fans, we know Pronger very well. IMHO, I think that he was trying to injure him or at least hurt him. Pronger may become a HOFer one day, but he is likely to always be known as the perenial loser. He has a history of stupid bonehead retaliation penalties. Help me out Hockey Nerds, wasn't it in 1999 when he went after McSorley in the LA playoffs and completely turned the series around resulting in his Blues losing. Thats how I remember it.

I have to disagree with you on this one. Heres why One, there was a deliberate motion with his forearms projected at his head followed by a pushing motion. He knew 100% that Homer was in a vulnerable position with Neds comming in for the hit. IMO, I think that R.N. was finishing his check (granted Homers back was to the players and facing the boards). Charging is a penalty that occurs when a player takes to or more strides towards an opposing player and leaves his feet with the intent to hit them. None of this occured. A charging call would have been as appropriate as a hooking call. Boarding or Roughing would have been more appropriate. And BTW, the Helmet covers the head and not the face. Look where Holmstroms cuts were. A helmet would have been useless to protect him from Pronger shoving his face into the stantions! He got what he deserved. I think that one game is fair.

I'm absolutely amazed that this happened. Kudos to the Wings organization for not crying like a baby about it. I can't believe that Brian Burke didn't pay off one of his buddies. Absolutely deserved and deliberate. His smiling afterwards probably dropped the trap door.

Did you see John Cusask? He looked as winey as his s***ty movies!
-
Tooo Funny! THey have thrown professionalism out of the window!
-
They just scream more. Sport fans in Detroit take everything for granted. (cept the Lions)
-
Come on boys we need to save some goals for game 4 and 5!!!!
-
WORD!!!! This goes to show the Ducks true character. They lose and they get pissed.
-
Those monkeys thought that the high stick was a penalty growning in the back ground. BONERS

Any Duck fan should be ashamed that some dick wishes that someone is injured in order to give their team an advantage to win. If you can't win skill on skill, work/work, go home, you suck and your team doesn't belong!!!!!
