Just steal Tom Petty's Free Fallin lyrics

The team doesn't need this kind of distraction. If you win games you play. If you compete you play. I'm not so sure why Osgood thinks he can ride on laurels.
-
I forgot all about Palffy, Stumple and Zednik
-
In the big picture, lets just hope that Tartar ultimately replaces the loss of Hudler.

boy thats fast another one

Dallas just scored to tie it up. I'm at this one in a box. Cant really decide who I hate more

Well, the Wings aren't the only team that has gotten screwed by this! This wasn't as bad as the May call off (what could be?), but a little worse than the Cleary call off. I was flipping through the Avs/Pens game and was watching the Avs on the power play. THe Avs shot the puck and T.J. Galiardi chips away at the puck in the crease, it goes over the line and the ref blows the whistle and calls it a no goal. This has to stop! I hope the NHL changes this intent rule soon. I know Betmann loves it, but it is eroding the integrity of the game. Considering that we are losing 3 of the best refs in the league this year, I fear more errors by less experienced officials.

"Babcock said he'll use these lines for Friday's game: Datsyuk-Zetterberg-Holmstrom Leino-Abdelkader-Bertuzzi Draper-Helm-Eaves May-Miller-Maltby Jimmy Howard will make his third consecutive start in goal." Anyone else think that Babs should promote the 3rd line up and the 2nd line down? I'm not trying to knock Bertuzzi, but there is no way in hell he is going to be able to produce anything with Leino and Abdelkader. I would love to see afterburner line pick up more ice time.

At this rate, we are going to be pulling players up from Toledo. OMG!!

Sammy leaving hasn't resulted in our skid. I really really miss Hudler. Watching these games have really made me appreciate what we had in 2007. I'm sure they have to be worse to play in for guys like Drapper, Lids, Pav, Homer, Z, Maltby, Ozzy etc. Babs will have to do something at this point. We really need Flip, Eaves, Williams, Kronwall and Franzen back. I'm really really apprehensive about missing the playoffs.

Thats what I was reading. If the team puts as many pucks on net as they did last week, I'm sure we'll get a few more! I hope they pummel them tonight!

I agree! Also, Greenland is pretty environmentally friendly!

Truely awesome! Someone needs to do a bear angel!

The bears equivalent to a visor.

Janik looked very solid last night. The only thing that we missed was that 1st pass out of the zone. I thought that Lebda played one of his better games, but Meetch was non exhistent out there. I wish we would have kept Quincy over Meetch *SIGH*

INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Very creative! A+++++

From the onset of the season, I've always looked at this notion of making up goals from the 2007-2008 season, in essence only needing to make up for the loss of Hudler. This replacing Hossa's production business has always been statistical bulls*** IMO. With the loss of Hudler and Franzen, everyone will need to step up and produce. I doubt we will have home ice advantage this year. Prior to Fanzen's injury, I was fairly confident that we would beat Chicago in the standings, now.....Not so much. The balance of this year lies in our special teams and Ozzy's GAA. Anything less than top 6 in the league is troubling for our playoff chances. Also, expect Zetterberg to have his annual 2-4 week back spasms.

The face off must be delayed. Why would anyone watch a stream that ends in redwingsblow?????

I'm just wondering if someone has an internet site to watch tonights game on? Thanks

Once your child will need his/her own seat, then you need to purchase one for them. If she can sit on your lap for the entire game, then the folks at the door won't stop you.

I seem to be a minority among my pundit friends, but I for one am more excited about Bert this year. IF he can stay healthy, I predict that he gets 30 goals and 50 points. He has to learn to play like Cleary. Net presence and tips. If he can do that, he'll develop alot of new fans around the NHL. Other than that I hope he learns Babcocks system, minimizes dumb penalties, plays more responsibly in his own end and pulverizes people along the boards. If he lives up to the above prediction, he will become a top 4 forward.

http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=487111 Well Drake called it quits last year, Feds takes off to Russia and Sillinger is now out. Lidstrom is the last of the great draft left.

Well of course the assumption is that all of the players are in their prime Howe-Yzerman-Datsyuk Lidstrom Chelios Hasek
