Well if we had gotten the bounces, we would have won. If that happend we still would have looked like amatures along the boards. No team can win the cup without a little bit of luck. To this point, we have none!

There is still alot of hockey to be played. This isn't supposed to be easy. I don't think that the Wings didn't play 60 minutes, but I know we got our asses handed to us along the boards and behind the net in our own end. If we continue to get out muscled they'll take the series. If the Wings can turn on a little more scoring, the series is ours to wing. GO WINGS!!!!!

I'm not sure if the delay will help or hinder the Wings. THey had pretty good pressure with good energy. Hope the delay doesn't change any of that. Lets get the first one!

A fan is someone who supports a team thru thick and thin. Most of these posters, would have never watched the Wings in the mid 80's. I remember going to the Joe and watching them give away a car every game. Anyway, the Wings have shown 1000X more heart than they have in the past 3 years. Champions overcome adversity. I'll admit, I'm a total Lilja hater. I've always taken every opportunity to manifest his short commings, but he has been playing unbelievable. I guess when he is physical, his junk yard dog comes out. I think that Markov has been inconsistently brillant. Not totally complete, but damn he's looked better than I've seen him in.........forever. Don't forget about Quincey!!!! I think that he has been absolutely AWESOME. Now remember, I'm judging him by his youth and consistency. No turnovers and great coverage. I don't know what his plus/minus stats are, but I'm curious to know! For a rookie to jump into his position, he has done very well. Malby is always so consistent and doing all of the little things right, that it is really easy to overlook him. I'm really disappointed in Lidstrom. I think he is injured. I can't remember ever him giving away so many pucks in a season let alone a game. The Wings really need to get Bertuzzi going in order to put the sharks to bed. I'm talking about the physical game as much as his offensive game.

Anyone catch the wide open net that his SOG was blocked by an opposing player? He should have had 2 goals today! Pavel is really surprising me and I think a few others. I can't recall who he put on their can in the the Calgary series *Phenuff?* but they checked him and he layed them flat with a little shoulder. The guy has got to be solid. Most expect him just to be an amazing playmaker a la Larionov, but he brings soooooooo much more! I would love to know his weight over the past 3 years. THe bottom line is; if Pavel is'nt putting up points, the Wings won't win in the post season.
