You're absolutely correct. Most on this board (and in Detroit in general) are negative and complain about anything they can. Thats why I had to move away from the s*** hole called Detroit. I won't give up on the Wings though. They sucked when I first started watching them and they may not be the Wings of yester year, but this game/series is far from over.

Even though he really didn't have a ton of ice time last night, IMO he was pretty solid. He didn't over play the puck or look rushed. A very solid effort from a rookie with virtually NO NHL game experience. I can't wait to see him develop a little more. Hopefully his development will not continue indefinitely in the 2nd round.

Maybe horrible is exaggerating, but there isn't much of a team push. Most of the shots are safe shots from the perimeter. The team isn't flowing like they have at Home. The good news, is that unless we hand them the game, without Calgary having intensity because of fatigue, they can't out skill us. Huge advantage WINGS! GO WINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Minimal flow, no intensity (at least what I would expect) easy clear lane shots. No one timers or deflections? We need to score quick or someone makes a dumb mistake and we pay for it.
