ROTFLMAO!!!

He just saved his life! YAaaaaaqa Lang!!!!
-
I thought that Sammy had that one! Who will be the hero?
-
Our defence looks pretty crappy with all of this running and gunning. Very strange?
-
Lang can't score to save his life!

I've never seen more of a regular season looking playoff game ever?

The commentary for the Devils/Lighting pregame about the incidents during the game was priceless. Hulls sarcasm was priceless and Clement, Hull and Ferraro (IMO usually cautiously biased against the Wings) comments Hull: "I think he was just fired up; I don't think he meant to slash him" Ferraro: "Well he slashed him 3 times *Hull chuckling in the background* I think somewhere along the lines Jamie McClennon lost a screw there" Hull: "I think they've all lost their minds" Ferraro: "You talk about momentum for game 6, how bout doing it in the first 57 minutes of the game when it counts? The Flames did one thing in the 3rd period yesterday, and thats embarrase themselves as an organization. It starts with their coach and goes right through their leader Jarrome Iginla. Both of thier leaderships took a hit yesterday". Hull: "fine that organization for emarrassing the NHL". Clemment. "I've always looked for humility in defeat. If you at least can't deliver in the humility department, how about showing some class. The Calgary Flames failed on both departments yesterday at the Joe Louis Arena". Can't wait for tonights game. Hope no one else gets injured. Tonights should be a barn burner. We need to play great defensive hockey and get the first goal. I hope Hasek stands on his head and Kipper has an off game. Even though we've lit him up in 3 games, he still hasn't had a bad game. We need to continue to hit the hell out of Phenuff How much do we miss Kronwall?

The commentary for the Devils/Lighting pregame about the incidents during the game was priceless. I wonder even more during Conroy's comments about the premeditated actions. Thank God, were are going to need all the home ice advantage that we can get. Too bad the saddle dome is #2!

Ya gotta love Bert going over and giving Cheli a hug!!!

Horrible 1st period for the Wings. Really sloppy, too many off sides. Cagary forced too many pases that were off the mark. Hope Doms in the game, b/c this could be a long night for him.

You've got to be kidding me! THis was Bettman's way of thinking he could get more fans of the game because people complain that they don't like to watch hockey becasue they cant follow the puck. TERRIBLE!!!
-
If you were talking, shouting and arguing or even fighting with someone and I came up behind you and hit you, do you call that fair game? Thats a sucker punch and he got whats comming to him. I see his fighting skills match his hockey skills.
-
That doesn't really surprise me. There are alot of hockey fans in Nasville and they kinda get it. Atlanta will never get hockey. THe only thing that saves it is the collosal amount of people that live down there. The laws of dilution can support a club. There are a ton of transplants down in Atlanta to support the Thrashers.

I think that it will be a close game tonight. The flames will take the lead while the wings will come back. Tonight should be the final nail in their coffen! All we will need to do later is bury them.
-
Of course the ducks can be beaten. The so called experts all thought that Calgary would be the toughest team to play against and were going to send the Wings packing in 4 or 5 games. Take things one at a time. You don't know who will make it to the second round at all, even thou the ducks have the best statistical chance.
-
IMO, any other goalie would have let in at least 3-4 more goals during both games. Psychologically, this is enough to completely deflate a team. Because he can make substantial stops, they know that they can rely on him to win a game or two, thus giving them a little bit of life. Lets see what happens tomorrow.

In the big picture, this and following matches could be a long haul for the Wings and I'd reather have him as effective and playing at 100%! This should really motivate Rex!

Had a business meeting tonight and watched the DVR version. Man, the Wings look great. Certainly, Calgary looked like a Minor league team, but the next game is big, big, big!!!! If the Wings can keep up the tenacity and aggressive forecheck, this will be an interesting playoffs. I think that this game can help most of us settle in and excercise our playoff demons. GO WINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do you think the Wings will bring back Fedorov for next year's pla
servo replied to wilka91's topic in General
Let me pull my finger out of my throat. If he was free, I'd like to watch him making plays, but he has burned his bridges. We could probably get his dad for free at next years trade deadline. I hear that the Lions will try to bring back Barry Sanders as well. Isiah Thomas may suite up for the Pistons. Detroit's sports future looks bright. -
How do you spell relief? DATSYUK 7 YEAR DEAL :!: All I can say is SIGH OF RELIEF!!! I think that thinking of this contract from a long term standpoint is what will make the most sence. We really won't know that the signing may be a bargin in 5 years when the league's ellite are earning more then him by a few million. Anyway, this is a great move for the organization. We only hope he stays healthy!

Weak, weak, weak, weak. Horrible loss, yet so well deserved. I can only hope that this is a lesson.

I think that the problem with him is his blatent charging that is never called. It is the responsibility of the refs to call the game fairly and objectivly. They need to focus on this specifically. Once he gets a few charging calls and game misconducts, he will have to change or he will end up sitting most of the game because he is too much of a liability against his team.
