The artist is wrong on 2 accounts here 1) It will be about 10-15 years till his beard fills in 2) the character looks more like Dennis Miller than Crosby.

In a few years we could grow to hate them as they mature into a potential powerhouse. They need to get their payroll settled before that will happen. There are a few gaps to fill yet.

The lowest paid player on the team can afford a Louis Vutton bag. The reality is, if the contract was offered it is a mutual agreement. Many ventures in business never work out. Thats the risk. They put up more money than he has provided with a mediocre team. The best thing for that francise is to move Gretsky from behind the bench. The amount of money they pay him is irrelevent to the poor consistency.

Playing like a stud on D? What about when he's repetitivly thrown the puck blindly off side boards turning it back over leading to more scoring chances? He backchecks like a monster, but overall, I'm certainly a little critical about his defensive play. I don't really remember him signing to boost our defense *wink*

If you look at the view that the ref had, Lidstrom had 2 hands on him and around his torso. It's a holding penalty folks. You can't do that in the offensive zone in this NHL.
