Seems like Milbury and McGuire were a little sad about the outcome of game one? Just reading into their vocal enthusiasm. Milbury seemed more down than McGuire. Wings never seem to get as much credit as they should against their opponents. I'm not sure if that is a commentators way to try to be non biased and pitch a game, but at the end they Milbury especially seemed pretty down. Race to 4; 3 more to go until we play for the

Wonderful post. I couldn't agree more with you in belief and experience. I lived in Columbus for 4 years and people would immediately ***** to me b/c they knew I was from Detroit. I told them that no one really gives 2 s***s about OSU. That would piss them off even more. Whenever you have a winning team that is beating the other teams, there is always going to be animosity and a perception of a rivary. I guess thats where the hate emminates from.

If you are going to give the WCSF MVP it really should be Hiller. W/O him, the series is over in 5 games even with Getzlaf's line killing us. He played UNBELIEVABLE and only b/c of our offensive depth were we able to overcome him. PERIOD. With that stated, I'd rather pick a winner for an MVP. W/O Franzen we are golfing now. Then as everyone else has stated, Lids, Ozzy and Zetterberg have been very important for us.

Well you know the refs are going to swallow their whistles in the 3rd which is a huge advantage for the Ducks trying to muck it up and get some garbage goals. We need to limit their time in the offensive zone.
