Brisebois will likely "retire" or get promoted to president by the time these trades come home to roost. Also, a good point someone posted on the Athletic mentioned that as their window closes they will (or should) have assets that would net good returns to teams contending at that time... maybe we want one of there core in 5 years to get us over the hump and pay a 1st +.

Well since his advanced stats are soooo good its bound to happen lol. #BUST That signing was atrocious, but placing him in the lineup based on how much he's earning is criminal!

I hate to be the realist in the room, but this team could lose 5 straight as easily as they won 5 straight. The need 8 of 12 points in this stretch to even consider not selling off assets.

I really hope we clear out some guys at the TDL. Flip guys like Erne, Sunny, Suter, etc for whatever you can get... retain salary, etc and bring up some guys like Elmer and Vrana (iffy I know). I view this TDL as the year where we purge older vets, and give good stretch run time to some kids... if they go on a run great, if not they get experience and a head start on next season.

That's obviously not what he's thinking or he'd have sold in the off-season to take a real shot at the top 3 centers in this draft. He committed to moving forward can't go back now were past the PONR. -

I view this as an opportunity... no extension has been mentioned. Hopefully we can get Larkin and Bo under contract. Larkin, Horvat, Copp and Veleno down the middle is a strong C group. In 2 years slide Copp down, Veleno to wing and Kasper on the 3rd line. Very strong. Not flashy bur DEEP! -

I don't think it's at all wise to sign Bert for more than 3 years... I'd pay him more on a shorter term. He's not aging gracefully at all. He is injury prone... regardless of the nature of the injuries their are a lot of them.

To be clear I think he's an orthodox catholic, which is an actual religion... unlike the for profit "Christian" churches in the US, which are profit centers and tax shelters. Either way it's an excuse to make bigotry, well excusable. I'd have respected him a lot more had he been honest and said I hate those people for who they are, rather than hide behind "religion". Atleast he'd own it. -
