I'm very pleased to see my initial take on Zadina from way back on draft day 2018 is showing up in so many users posts... welcome to the club.

Zadina is hot garbage dude... he's not worth a cent more than 1.5. It's a moot point anyway... he's gone at the draft. The question is how much do we need to package with him to get any sort of return out of a failed 6OA who can't hit, let alone fill nets.

He's a POS who's a borderline NHLer, if he was a college signing rather than a 6OA pick he'd be with Hirose in GR. His draft position has given him alot of runway... more than his pathetic play deserves.

No, Ras is a big body that can crash the net, his size allows him to be more physical (be we should see even more), he's best off the wing but can play center. Now to the draft portion of this situation... 9OA which was an acknowledged reach at the time 6OA a player that was touted/hyped as a top 3 guy who we were lucky to get. For that reason more is expected. Ras is a more useful player because he can do a lot on the ice... Zadina's best attribute is his shot, and that's just sad. Zadina is a bust. That is all. There are lots of players I'd have drafted before Zadina and I didn't need hindsight to know it. Cossa is the right goalie give it time.

He's invisible... recently in games I've watched he's so infrequently mentioned I thought he was scratched or hurt. At this point the let's wait and see approach has taken us from hyped draft pick, to well Kucherov took a while, to he's still young, to a maybe a change of scenery trade assest, to worthless throw in trade assest. 2 seasons until he's playing in Europe. Told yas so.

That's fantastic... I'm always struck by how thoughtful and articulate this 20 year old man is in his 2nd language. I think its his intelligence that sets him apart.

This team is an absolute train wreck at the moment! Zadina is hit garbage as always BUT the rest of the team is in the dumpster too! We desperately need a new coach after this season. Ned looks very shaky as well, he needs to get his head right or the scar tissue is going to build up and he'll be a write off.

I think the die is cast... even if he did have a bit of a "dead cat bounce" it just helps his fledgling trade value. I think he's gone at the draft in a package for a center. I'd be surprised if it's at the deadline or for another busting prospect.
