True... what we need is a Buffalo/Eichel situation on a Western conference team, that wants to ship the player to the Eastern conference so Steven can pounce.

He had capable wingers at times last year... and was a dud... it is a resurgence. Hopefully it lasts.

I'm not talking about an elite 1C, but a platoon 1C to complement Larkin. I'm pleasantly surprised with his resurgence... if we had another one of him or even a Larkin-light we'd be in good shape at C. Then the rest of our centers could fight for 3rd and 4th line duty or spots on the wing.

I think when Vrana gets back into the line up in Jan/Feb and looks up to speed... Zadina (and is dwindling "potential") and picks/prospects will be packaged for a 1a/1b Center.

The refs are awful, seem to be cutting the Canadiens slack because their own player launched Larkin into Allen and he got hurt. Lots of no calls on Montreal.

I know being from Michigan IS a factor, I can't for the sake of all that's holy understand WHY it's a factor. I'd rather have a more competent player from wherever than a less competent one from the teams own back yard.

I wish Svech had been given the same opportunity and "benefit of the doubt" that Zadina seems to get. Poor Svech didn't even have many/any slappies on LGW. Poor guy got the shaft.

A classic it's not Zadina's fault he's awful post... it's his linemates fault... a lot of the others are getting their eyes opened... soon you'll all be telling me you weren't high on Zadina agreeing with me with out admitting it.

I've paid no attention to Turcotte... I know they wouldn't include Byfield. Not sure on Vilardi, so I used Turcotte. I do follow Zadina and well he's barely a top 9 forward.

When it comes to Edmonton I think you swing for the fences... offer them their choice of D, and Greiss for multiple high picks and Koskinen in return perhaps even another salary dump. Also, with how we're playing I think some consideration needs to be given to making a pitch for Eichel... I was reading that the price is coming down, but then again we're in the same division.
