Zadina (before the hype completely fades) and #32. For #5 and a bad contract or attitude they want to move. They get a player with 2 years of "development" and the best 2nd rounder available. We get out from under a failing prospect and get a chance to let Yzerman make a good selection at 5. Those numbers aren't very impressive.

I agree with most of this... but I think Nemeth and Ganger have value to us on the roster and at the trade deadline. I'm really not into Perfetti at 4... to me he seems like a player you take if you moved way up in the draft. You've got a decent team that can afford to wait those 4 years. I also think he has that boom or bust thing going.

Just read a Montreal fan trade proposal... Mantha for Domi, Mete and a conditional pick in 2021, 3rd becomes a 2nd based on performance. Is that reasonable? If we trade Mantha I think I'd want a younger asset than Domi, unless we flip him for picks too. #5yearplan

Picking Perfetti, as I've said before, is 2000s Oilers type bafoonery. Is he a legit prospect sure... but if the tipping point is a connection to the state and a connection to a former teammate and not something in his game, then we're doomed.
