Nice assumption BUT NO; Actually I've never been more than lukewarm on Larkin... last offseason I'd have gone from "absolutely not" to "f*** if we have to"... I think Seider, in a very short time, has shown he has a much more engaging personality and a higher level of maturity. I'd love to bring in an aging leader for 2-3 years to serve as captain or resign Glendenning for 2-3 years as captain to bridge to Seider. -

I really dislike the thought of Larkin as Captain... let's wait on Seider he's this team's future... Larkin is a bridge to get us there. -
Watching the HNIC pregame package on Quinn Hughes just brought home again how big the mistake we made with our first pick in the 2018 draft. An elite D would be nice about now rather than a soft, one-dimensional winger. #hindsight

Blashill is a terrible coach full stop. The success everywhere else line... nice and all but I couldn't care less. The 'no coach would have a good record' line is stating the obvious. BUT many other coaches would atleast demand respect for the team, organization and fans, that would see players looking engaged and like they give the slightest f**k out there. I don't expect miracles but I do expect HUSTLE!

The "endorsement" of Blashill must be Stevie class at this point! This team is 100% garbage, no coach would have a good winning percentage... but a lack of talent is NO EXCUSE for a lack of hustle/effort. This team is lazy and it sucks! -

If Byfield was our pick and he projected accurately he'd be this team's #1 center within 3 years.

You're splitting hairs... he's the best we have so we deploy him as a 1C. That's about the size of it... on a hand full of teams he'd be the 3rd line center. He's a 2C plain and simple.
