My wishful mind read the title as... Jeff Blashill IS History.... Damn I was excited.

I fully expect Blashill to finish this season... but the "you're fired" presser should be scheduled for 30-60 seconds after our last game... a guy like Barry Trotz has gotten more out of less than Blash, we need a coach with a highly structured defensive system.

It's not what I think, it's about perception... the wings have been doing a good job of inventing then talking up positives for a scorer, who doesn't score and who's lost in his own zone. Packaged with what's likely to be a high 2nd rounder it may get you up to pick 8 or so.

The answer here is simple... if you draft top 3 take the player you want from what's available. Then trade Zadina and a 2021 second to __________ for their first this year and draft Askarov. You'd get a far better forward prospect and a potential franchise goalie for a bust and a 2nd rounder.

Tankathon is up to date with this seasons data... Ran the sim 20 times... highest finish 2nd, most common finish 4th, in almost every run 1 or 2 low odds teams make a huge jump and snag a top 2 pick. If that's the way it plays out, after this abysmal season I'm not sure I could continue to watch the next few seasons. I'm not a bandwagon fan but another 2-3 years go by without significant improvement the likes of Larkin, Bert, Mantha our older core players will likely want to move on. This next draft is critical... we need a top 3 pick or this is gonna get even uglier.

We need to draft Byfield... he and Lafreniere are comparable but we need quality centers... its much easier to add a quality winger or two to complement and all world center, than it is to add a quality center to compliment an all world winger. The best case scenario for this rebuild is that Larkin continues to progress/plays well in his prime and is our 2nd line center, because that's where he fits.

Someone needs to convince Hirose is March/April and he has the opportunity to single handedly f*** our draft position... then sit back and watch the twine bulge.

The US was a key supplier of hardware well before entering the war... that would likely have continued just for $$$$ reasons. The US also pressed this advantage and were.the recipients of a lot of R & D, scientific data and strategic bases. So it wasn't a selfless soft or hard entry into the war for the US.

It's practically impossible for Japan to have entered the European theatre due to geography... they were also working toward a Pacific based empire. They would likely have dominated much of China, Vietnam and Korea thus saving the US from two failed wars.

Fixed this for you... Americans who pretend to be Canadians in europe are called 'SMART' The allies would have won the war without the US but it would have taken far longer and the Russia would have occupied even more of Europe. If anything the American delay in entering the war set in motion the Cold War. The US hasn't won a war since WW2, lost in Nam and Korea, had to go back to Kuwait a second time and are still there... Kill alot of people yes, Win not so much.

I'd take Lehner on a 4yr x 4mil deal but that's my absolute max. The others are 2 years and 2 million max deal guys in my view.
