Wow this is a testy thread... AA is Helm with some finish, Mantha is a prototypical power forward. Each is nice to have... AA's contract stunts and streakyness make him more expendable.

On Howard what do we do with him?? Conditioning in GR, then what? I'd like to see more of Comrie... he may be something he may not but on age alone he's worth hanging on to over Howard... Could we truely embrace the tank and trade Bernier?

The homer is strong in this one... you make Jack Edwards look objective. Didn't Hirose have something comparable to 7 in 10 last season... that hype train is derailed and on fire. Apparently you do since you replied.

Comrie has a 100% save pct and 0.00 gaa... what's not to like -
I fully expect Blashill to finish this season... but the "you're fired" presser should be scheduled for 30-60 seconds after our last game... a guy like Barry Trotz has gotten more out of less than Blash, we need a coach with a highly structured defensive system.

It's not what I think, it's about perception... the wings have been doing a good job of inventing then talking up positives for a scorer, who doesn't score and who's lost in his own zone. Packaged with what's likely to be a high 2nd rounder it may get you up to pick 8 or so. -

The answer here is simple... if you draft top 3 take the player you want from what's available. Then trade Zadina and a 2021 second to __________ for their first this year and draft Askarov. You'd get a far better forward prospect and a potential franchise goalie for a bust and a 2nd rounder. -

That's possible, but would the org really want to put a 19 year old kid in net with our D in front of him and allow him to see more rubber than a highway? Sounds like a great way to destroy a kid.
