I dunno. apparently you're a big AO fan? Z hit Avery's body and they knocked knees. Ovechkin missed the body and led with his knee. Not even close to the same.

Definitely. Hopefully it will put to bed some of the crap people try to pin on him here, like how he left because he hated Babcock, or didn't think the Wings were a good team, or whatever. the guy is a class act.

I do wish he'd use his size more and get a bit of a nasty streak. We need a big physical defenseman to make that real estate in front of the net tough to play in.

He has been working hard and involved out there every night, but honestly it hasn't led to the kind of production you'd hope for from him.

wow. that was scary. Nice saves by Howard. I couldn't even see how that got out front. Datsyuk continues to look a half a step off.

In hindsight E should have gone over to help, but yeah, Abdelkader was either out of steam or pretty casual on that backcheck. And if he's out of gas than that's a lesson on shift length and putting the puck deep, not across the zone.
