Off of the top of my head and in no particular order: AO Vinny Lecavalier Dustin Brown Teemu Selanne Joe Sakic Honorable mention: Brodeur, Getzlaf, Morrow, Kopitar, Lucic and probably a bunch of other guys i'm forgetting. And I have to say it, partly just to piss people off but Pronger narrowly misses this list for me. He's big, physical, so damn talented, plays with an edge, and the most surprising thing to me, is the guy is actually intelligent. Remember his analysis on the playoffs last season? best one I'd read. Plus watching some Ducks games, in interviews the guy is actually articulate and humble. It's hard for me to overlook all those suspensions though. He's over the line too often, especially against Detroit. But if he were in the Winged Wheel, I'd probably explain it away somehow.

Maltby had a great game tonight. He was one of the Wings players who actually had some jump, even early on in the game.

I'd love to see a statistical analysis of penalties called in a game and the goal disparity at the time of the calls. Because it sure seems like if a team is up a couple goals, they're probably getting the next penalty.

Yeah, it doesn't make sense. Either the puck clipped Vinny in the face and the faceoff comes out of the zone, or it was Raf's butt end that bloodied Vinny's mouth and it's a penalty on the Wings.

Yeah. To me this team didn't look a whole lot better. It shouldn't have been this hard against Tampa.

Another good point by Mick. The faceoff either has to come out, or it's a penalty for a high stick on Rafalski. there's no way it should stay in the zone and no penalty call.

We need the other angle to see if it was a butt end of Raf's stick or the puck that hit Vinny in the mouth. Do they not have the angle behind the f-ing net?

It looked like a kick to me, but it is a very subjective call. He was kind of stopping, but looked like he moved his foot to put it in.

It would've gone in anyway, but looked to me like he kicked it before it fully crossed the line.

They've been calling it tight all night, to put it generously. But the one replay they just showed, you could see Hall throw a clear elbow to the back of Z's head.
