Don't know if this has been said already or not, but do you think Cheli is really injured? Or is that Babcock wanted to sit him, and out of respect is calling it an injury.

And the goal they allowed earlier in the series (was that game 1?) when Homer was clearly in the crease and pretty clearly in Turco's way, also changed the complexion of the series. If the Wings lose this after being up 3-0, it's their own damn fault and they don't deserve to play for the Stanley Cup after such a horrific collapse. But I think they're going to close it out tonight.

I agree. As I said in another thread, he's definitely stepped up his play since the first few games, but he is not standing on his head. Credit Dallas for forcing a lot of low quality shots from the Wings. And Detroit wasn't going to the net to like they have been to get the ugly goals. Turco's been good, but I wouldn't put him as the top reason the Wings have lost the last two.

To me it's a terrible idea to replace a goalie who is playing well with a goalie who is 43 years old, completely cold, not used to being the backup, and lost the starting job in the first round. Ozzy is still playing well. I don't even think Ozzy's been outplayed by Turco. Turco has been better than he was at the start of the series, but only made a couple really big saves. The quality of Wings scoring chances were way down the last two games.

He's a guy I wouldn't mind having on the Wings, but he's such a douchebag I hate him because he's on Dallas.

Overall I agree, though Homer got called for a relatively harmless crosscheck. But generally this series Ott has gotten away with plenty of slashes, trips, hits after the whistle. I'd love to have a guy on the Wings who hacks and whacks guys like that without getting called.
