I especially like the awkward silence as they went to commercial break. I think Engblom freaked out his announcing counterpart there.

Basically that fighting has a place in the game and will prevent violence and cheapshots better than suspensions. He pointed out Stoll, I think it was, and his little cheapshot after an empty net goal, which led to several guys trying to beat his ass. And how he'll think twice before stirring up crap at the end of the game like that.

They didn't like the tripping call, so Quenville (I'm assuming) or someone on the Avs bench apparently crossed the line in complaining about it.

I know. I was just kidding because so many people had refuted it with our injuries. It wasn't specifically aimed at you. We're definitely hurting worse defensively, but the Avs are hurting worse offensively. I was simply trying to call attention to the fact that they're missing a couple big players too.

I didn't know I was making such a controversial comment. All I was pointing out was that the Avs were missing some big players too, especially offensively. It's a big part of why they've sucked, much like our injuries are a big part of the Wings sucking.

With a knee injury, it's much easier to know that the hell's going on and when and how it will heal. concussions can be lingering and hard to shake.
