who's that third announcer that's falling all over himself to praise the Ducks? The one who said it was a "reputation" call and tried to attribute the penalty to Chelios and Babcock complalining, until Olzcyck pointed out that they blew the call in that 2nd period.

Wow the ice looks terrible today. The puck was bouncing right from the first faceoff. The Wings also look a step slow and are getting beat to the puck. Still, not a bad first period. I also see that interference is creeping back into the game. Dats has been impeded a few times trying to chase the puck to the corner. Not a flagrant interference, but the Duck's defense has definitely slowed guys up when they don't have the puck.

Well crap. that's too bad for Cleary. He's having a great year. Hopefully when he comes back he'll pick up right where he left off (well, except the part about getting hit in the face with a puck).

Hasek fans think he never gets the credit he deserves and gets ripped on for goals that weren't soft. Ozzy fans think he doesn't get enough credit for wins, but gets the lionshare of blame for losses. It's not worth talking about goaltending with fans of either goalie, because their bias and defensiveness clouds judgement. It's too bad we unfortunate we can't talk about goals or goaltenders without it breaking down, but that's the way it is and has been. Maybe the mods can create a thread for those who don't favor either goalie, so we can talk about it.
