It's a tough call, but overall I'd go with Zetterberg. And I think people have brought up legitimate points. Z is the better two way player. He doesn't have the crazy moves that Datsyuk does, but he's harder to move off the puck. The Wings are a puck possession team and Hank is a puck possession beast. He's a better penalty killer. And just from watching the game, I feel like Zetterberg is a factor in the game on a more consistent basis. Datsyuk can go unnoticed in one game, then light it up the next. If you're looking for some empirical evidence, Zetterberg averages about a minute more ice time per game than Datsyuk. Why do you think that is?

that's the problem when the refs have called this many penalties. They seem almost arbitrary at this point as they try to keep them even.

Kronwall had his stick parallel to the ice across the guy's midsection. Like I said, it was embellished, but the ref standing 10 feet away has pretty much gotta call that.

They seriously need to send this game to the league as how not to officiate an NHL game. 11 penalties in the first period. 6 penalties so far in the second. You'd think this was a really chippy game, but it's not at all. It's just poorly officiated.

oh my god. that was called a crosscheck? this is ridiculous. these refs are making a joke of this game. as are the announcers trying to justify the difference between Homer's crosscheck versus prongers.
