Sammy makes a great defensive play, then spins and gives it right back.

I love that Alfie shoots whenever he gets the puck in a good scoring position. More Wings players need to do that. Good no call on the flop by Bishop.

He could've slapped it. If he threw it then he risks the same penalty. Sometimes you can get away with a quick throw but because you're throwing it they tend to be a lot less lenient.

Tatar threw a fake and took about three strides with the puck in his glove. Not smart.

I think the content of what Ozzie says is very good. He just needs to learn to be more dynamic in how he talks. I thought with Mick it was celiac disease or something like that. Which isn't really a reason not to travel these days. You can get a fair amount of gluten free stuff in most cities. Maybe he just doesn't like traveling anymore after so many years. I can't really blame him.

It's amazing how hard of a time the Wings have scoring goals, but they seem to get burned on a lot of seeing eye goals. That tying goal was a weak wrister from out by the blueline but found its way through all sorts of traffic and in.

Actually after watching it a few times it looks like Quincey was trying to go to the side boards where Abdelkader was. And it either got deflected or he shot it into the Tampa players skate. At the end of the period you've still got to make a strong safe play and he didn't, but it's not as stupid as it originally looked when I thought he went up the middle to no one.

That's Quincey in a nutshell. He's had a good game otherwise but then inexplicably goes up the middle from behind his own net.

You could feel it coming. Bad turnover late in the period. Flukey shot through bodies. Goal.

St. Louis has still got some wheels. Kindl, afraid of being hit, pirouettes and lets the Tampa player go around him and get the puck unimpeded.

That's one of the plays that annoys me about Mule. Rather than try the cutesy bank play, cut hard to the front of the net instead of just cruising behind it! You're 6'3" and 225 lbs!
