Kindl has top pairing ability, Dustin Brown on a good team is a great 2nd liner but a mediocre 1st liner. He'll always be at the top in hits and is a guy every team will want, but Kindl is going to be the type of defensemen every team needs. Jakub Kindl is close to being a top 5 defensive prospect.

While Dustin Brown isn't just a regular 40 point getter, I think you're overvaluing him too much. Kindl and a late pick should be able to get Brown.

Sure we do, every team in the league would like to have a Jakub Kindl. Dean Lombardi is one of the best GM's in the league.

Well, there's no way that Grigorenko plays every game while he's called up, I'd guess he'll get a game here or there while Drake is injured. He'll probably alternate with Downey on the line with Ellis and Kopecky. If Grigorenko doesn't show anything in his first few games, I think Holland will try and convince him to stay in GR or we'll simply lose him to Russia.

Trading off Rafalski and Kronwall to bring in Doan and Morris is a MAJOR downgrade teamwise.

I still don't understand them letting Savard go for whatever he got, I'm not saying Waddell is a good GM, but I agreed with his trades last year and still agree with them now. Perhaps Tkachuk wasn't the right guy to bring in, but he exceeded any expecations anyone could've had in his short time in Atlanta.

I don't think this is a true statement. I don't think you can correlate this awful start to the trades he made last year.
