Lebda really progressed well during the regular season, but I don't think he's been very good all post-season. Quincey played well and if Lebda can't go I have a lot of confidence in Quincey.

Hasek: "if we don't change, we could be in trouble."

Well that wasn't taken out of context, was it? -
Haha the announcers: "Boogaard can't wait to get on the ice to knee someone else" Yeah, that was a pretty brutal knee on knee.

Hartnell didn't get suspended.

You guys have to realize that just because Williams sucked at the point doesn't mean Samuelsson would. Sammy has experience on the point from back in Sweden and in the Olympics. It's a good choice.

Apples and oranges to me, I was never supportive of Bertuzzi, always thought his punishment should've been more severe. But I also never said that he wouldn't help this team if he were on it. Just because I don't support what he did, or didn't support him when he did it doesn't mean I have to not support him, as a player, on the Red Wings right now. I'm sure you're against murder, Vladinator, but if a member of your family murdered someone, would you completely turn your back on them? (I'm just using murder as an example of an extreme to make a point) I don't forgive Bertuzzi for what he did, but as long as he can help the team, I'm not going to not support him while he's here.

Well, they have been calling it a inflamed disc and a herniated disc since he's been out.

Skill over size is why we've been golfing in April the last 3 years.

I love how every single player is available only to the Wings and the only person holding said player from comign ehre is Holland!

What are you basing this off of? The Blue Jackets will want at very least a 2nd rounder and a good prospect. They have no incentive of just getting rid of him. -

Considering that the Jackets would want A LOT more than just future considerations I'm not sure I'd shell out a Keith Tkachuk type deal for him. -
He has a sprained neck so I have no clue what that means.

they're basically cheer leaders. i'm sure the 13 year old boys and girls who do this at wings games have degrees in ice slush management too. i see nothing wrong with it, it's not like marketing is using them as a ploy for people to come to the games. You're either just paranoid or something else, i highly doubt these "ice girls" believe anyone is going to marry them for what they're doing, it's just something to get exposure. People have been discovered in the same sort of ways.

Except it doesn't work that way.

No one. The Wings aren't going to have 3 #1 centers on the same team.

It's the time when we're not on the PK that it's the problem. Kronwall isn't as fast as Lebda, but he's definitely one of the more mobile defensemen that we have. We all saw what happened on the GWG last year in game 6. Lilja will be able to step in and add 8-12 minutes a game, but you guys have to remember that Kronner was logging at least 20 mins every game. That's a big hole to fill.

The Pistons are not bigger than the Lions in Detroit. The Pistons have actually toned down A LOT since they started faltering a bit.

Just because you're big and strong doens't mean you're a good fighter. Most of these guys practice fighting everyday. Which I'm sure you're aware of.

Too bad only half the people will be able to see the Tigers on TV now.

The rookie max is a 3 year 850k contract with bonuses up to around 4m.

Hey, another Datsyuk is producing without Zetterberg thread!

No, in this case the Wings weren't able to sign him because of the 1m tax free contract he got in Russia. Grigorenko could've came over a while ago. Russia isn't going to shell out 7-8m a season for multiple players either so that's incorrect also. I'd also love to see an article where he was considered better than Ovechkin post-injury.
