Heh, typical. Another Hasek is a victim and the league is out to get him attitude. Where did you get out of all of this that Babcock wants to get him to change his game? Babcock just wants Hasek to stop diving and giving up those weak goals. Diving and embellishing penalties are not part of his game.

It's pretty incredible considering that he's not a top line player this season and isn't really a two-way player either.

This isn't a comparison between the two players, but besides that, Lebda is the same Lebda as last year. Not great defensively, not great offensively, a speedy defensemen fast defensemen who can make up for his mistakes by his footspeed.

I'm not disputing that, you're basically making my point. I guess I worded it wrong, Osgood would like to be the starter again, but he realizes he never will be, so he's happy being the backup. If Osgood wanted to be a #1 and that's all he cared about, he wouldn't be in Detroit, because he knows it won't happen here.

Why? It wasn't a slam against Ozzie, it's obvious he doesn't want to be the #1 again based on him signing the contract he knew his role before he signed it. As for him never being the #1? That's also a fact based on how it's gone the past 2 years. Osgood still can do it, but management isn't going to let him run with it again. He could be a tandem with Howard, but it will be Howard's show if he's up.

Whether that's true or not, Osgood doesn't want to be a #1 goalie anymore. The fact remains that even if Osgood has the ability, he will never be the undisputed #1 goalie for Detroit ever again.
