That is a very poorly done website, looks like a 15 year old came up with it.
-
Then he won't get traded.
-
Ideal or not, the Sabres want a 1st round pick and a prospect for Biron, not Chris Osgood.
-
After his last season with the Stars it was hard not to think that he was done. Besides, he's not a physical force out there today, but he still plays with a bit of an edge, which is always welcomed. A lot of teams thought he was washed up, which is why he signed for 2m in St. Louis.
-
Biron is not going to sign somewhere that he isn't the starter for the entire length of his contract. He also isn't going to sign a 2 year deal where he can be forced out again. Any goalie we bring here is just a stopgap until Howard is ready or he is determined not starting material.

Nashville had no choice but to get Forsberg, he's the best player available right now and they HAVE to go deep into the playoffs. They've never won a playoff series, there's talk of them moving. They would pay anything and everything necessary to get Forsberg.

This is the extent that Lidstrom Rules contributes, just ignore it.
-
So you hav the rankings: Federov Bure Fedorov
-
It's 100% Joey MacDonald in tonight.
-
I'm still fairly confident that Joey will be in net tonight.

Honestly? Everyone besides Z and Lidstrom can go for the right price, keep in mind many of those prices are so high that no team would pay it.
-
FinWing, Joey is just as inexperienced as Howard is at the NHL level. Joey has one more NHL start than Joey does.
-
I think that's silly, what is Forsberg then? He does everything BUT fight so he isn't a power forward?
-
McCarty in all likely hood will not see the ice in the playoffs, healthy or not.
-
If I was going to take a guess I'd say that one of your defintions for a power forward is that the player has to fight, correct? Because Forsberg does, or did do everything else that a power forward does to be labeled a power forward. He's mean, he uses his body, he's hard to knock off the puck, he has a mean streak, he'll hit you and won't back down ect...
-
Forsberg is definitely a power forward.
-
That's your problem right there, your description as a "more physical Lidstrom". Comparing Kronwall top a Hall of Fame top 5 all time defensemen in the history of the game is unfair.
-
Did you read the scouting report? It says nothing like that. Obviously he hasn't reached his potential, I've already said that. Should players who have only reached their maximum potential be given 5 year contracts?
-
You do realize that there's more to being a defensemen than putting up points, right?
-
Done absolutely nothing? What does that mean exactly? What do you want him to do? As long as Schneider and Lidstrom are here, he won't ever lead the team in points. As long as we have hall of famers Lidstrom and Chelios here, he won't ever be the best defensive defensemen on the team. If you actually would take the time to understand the contract, you'd realize it's not so 'stupid'. The Wings have one other defensemen in the entire system who has top 4 potential. He's 3rd on the team in IT per game, behind Schneider and Lidstrom, he's created chances, but has been snakebitten all year.
-
TSN's report makes him look to be exactly what he is, no one is saying he's lived up to all of his potential. You wanting him gone becuase he hasn't lived up to it yet is just as silly as what you say people are claiming that he is.

And the feeling is mutual with Babcock.
